1 "Buster Blader" + 1 Dragon-Type monster
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot attack directly. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each Dragon-Type monster your opponent controls or is in their Graveyard. Change all Dragon-Type monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position, also Dragon-Type monsters in your opponent's possession cannot activate their effects. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.

Pros

Good attack and defense, and can be increased higher if your opponent uses Dragon-type monsters.
Very strong against Dragon decks since it will negate their effects, and switches them to defense position.
Deals piercing damage when attacking defense position monsters.
Fusion summoning this card can be easy if you use fusion substitute monster, since you can use any other dragon type monster as the other material.

Cons

Can't attack directly.
If you are using a dragon deck, and your opponent takes control of this card (through cards like Enemy Controller), it can potentially one shot you if you don't have any protection.
If your opponent does not use any Dragon-type monsters, it is just a high attack monster that can pierce defense position monsters, but can't attack directly.

Tips

Fusion substitutes

Without needing to bring Buster Blader, you can use any Dragon-type monsters to fuse into the Dragon Destroyer. This can make it more versatile and much easier to summon. Red-Eyes B. Dragon now can be used to fusion summon into 3 different monsters, which can make it versatile, especially since Red-Eyes has its own supports as well.

very good against weevil decks since it can do piercing damage and weevil will mostly use cocoons and low defense effect monsters.

I can imagine myself using it to farm keith and maybe kaiba . pvp-wise : good against people using barrel dragons/mirage dragons in their deck . Good against kaibaman and somewhat okei against 3-star paradox with revolver dragons

Does anyone know if there's a card that would let you switch your graveyard with your opponents? So you could give your opponent all your Dragon monsters

Oh boy, I love how when you're wrecking your opponent's dragon deck with this beauty and they get so desperate that they use Econ to take control of it and they idle for some time trying to figure out why it doesn't let them attack then they realize how 🔥ed up they are and surrender lol

Or when they summon their BEWD and inmediately after you summon this thing, BEWD turns to defends mode* you attack* wild kuriboh or any other defensive card appears* their turn* opponent tries to turn BEWD to attack mode* BB effect activates* BEWD back to defense mode* opponent surrenders* lool

rule #1 of summoning this card: never have other monsters on the field UNLESS you have a way to stop an attack when somebody takes control of it, otherwise, jokes on you boy. lol

It doesn't say that you HAVE to use buster Blader as a fusion material... now I'm just waiting for the continuous trap: DNA surgery

I think the fact the description specifically has 1 by the buster blader and 1 by the dragon type monster means that you wouldn't be able to use fusion substitutes

You can substitute for Buster Blader but not for the Dragon-type.

The fact that he can't attack directly is kind of a blessing in disguise. That means your opponent can't punish you as heavily if they steal him with ECon. Just saved my bacon a little while ago.

For some reason I can fuse substitute with dragon but not with buster blader. Instead it insist on fusing dark paladin

There's no substituting a material unless it has a specific name, aka only Buster Blader can be sub'd. If the game is allowing the any(1) Dragon-type to be subbed, then that's definitely a glitch.
