Select 1 monster on your side of the field. The DEF of the selected monster becomes equal to the combined original DEF of all face-up monsters on your side of the field, until the end of this turn.

• Quick-play Spell, can be activated during your opponent’s Damage Step.

• You need to have more than 1 face-up monsters in order to benefit from this card’s effect.

• Always make sure you turn your Toggle to ON, in order to enter the Damage Step, as most of the suggested monsters will be set most of the time in order for your opponents to attack into it. You will not be able to use Unity during Battle Phase as your monster is still in face-down defense position.

Big Shield Gardna only monster with an immense DEF stats, that can be easily set on the field. Sanga of the Thunder, Suijin, Kazejin have effects that reduce your opponent’s attacking monster’s ATK to 0 during Damage Step (when they are flipped face up defense position). You need to activate Unity at the start of Damage Step, right after any of these card is flipped face-up upon opponent’s attack. This will allow the monster that you used Unity on, to collect more Defense from your other face-up monsters’ defense stats and deal massive damage to your opponent, if their monster has lower ATK points than your monster’s Defense.

This combo is only compatible with Titan Showdown skill. Use Mausoleum of the Emperor to pay Life Points, and summon any of Sanga of the Thunder, Suijin, Kazejin. Once your opponent attacks into any of these monsters, you can use Unity as per above mentioned steps, to further boost your monster’s DEF, and Titan Showdown will take effect to double the damage they take, if your Life Points is currently lower than theirs.
