  • Draws a card.
  • Retrieves banished cards.

  • Not all decks can easily banish 3 or more monsters.

  • You can also return your opponent’s banished monsters to the deck to disrupt combos.

Dark Necrofear

The summoning condition of Dark Necrofear requires you to banish 3 monsters which fulfills the activation condition for Pot of Acquisitiveness. Return the 3 Banished monsters to the deck and draw a card.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Evening Twilight

The summoning of Envoy of the Evening Twilight could potentially banish a lot of monsters from your graveyard, good for activating multiple Pot of Aquisitiveness.

Destiny HERO - Doom Lord

Destiny HERO - Doom Lord can only banish your opponent’s monsters temporarily. To make it a more powerful form of disruption, you can use Pot of Acquisitiveness to return that banished monster to the deck.

Banishing Effects

Some monsters banish themselves to activate their own effects, and there are some effects that require you to banish your monsters to activate. Use Pot of Acquisitiveness to return those banished monsters into the deck and draw a new card.

Banished face-down cards are not considered monster cards even if they actually are
Could be used in an Archfiend ban deck?

Will never happen. Pot of Greed is a +1 with zero drawback, that's the reason why it is banned to this day.
