● If this card is in your GY: You can destroy 1 “Nephthys” card in your hand, and if you do, Special Summon this card.

How to Get

PackAbsolute Inferno [SR]
Level-up reward--
Victory against--

  • Low-level makes it less costly to summon.
  • Special summons Nephthys monsters from your deck with no restriction.
  • Can revive herself.
  • Destroying cards of her archetype triggers their effects.

  • Weak stats.
  • Ritual monsters can be inconsistent.

Rebirth of Nephthys is this monster’s intended Ritual card and if you use another Devotee of Nephthys or Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys as ritual tribute you can destroy one card on the field.

The Djinn monsters are all able to use themselves as ritual tribute even while in the graveyard, which eases your summoning cost. Additionally, each of them gives your Ritual monster an additional effect when they are used as ritual tribute.

Here are the monsters you can special summon from your deck with Devotee of Nephthys’ first effect. You can also destroy these cards to revive Devotee of Nephthys with her second effect while also triggering the destroyed monster’s effect. Destroy Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys so it can revive itself on your next turn.

How would you get 3 when box only has 2 listed?

Can’t tell if sarcastic or not
WHy I can't summon Cerulean??? Cerulean has no text like "it can ONLY be ritual summoned"

ok found, the rule is that ritual monsters must always be first summoned via ritual
Tier 1 confirmed, or at least new meta confirmed

I'm thinking Tier 2 or 3. It still has a very weak Turn 1 and there's very little space for backrow. Koa'ki Meiru Ice can pretty much wipe your board on Turn 2.

3 no counter to maximus and terrible against reactor dragon (It's always 3300 on your enemy turn)

Well, Cerulean Phoenix is a 3000 ATK monster that goes to 3300 ATK with Beatdown and can pop any monsters your opponent controls: I wouldn't say Maximus is the biggest issue here. Koa'ki Meiru Wall and Ice are way bigger threats honestly since they can be Special Summoned from the Deck by Urnight consistently.
Yubel support or a new Nephthys only deck?

I guess Disciple of Nephthys is a fine addition to Yubel, but I'm mainly seeing a Pure Nephthys and a Geartown Nephthys Deck.
You probably don't want to run the Ritual Monsters in a Yubel Deck, but I might be wrong: I'll look into every option.
Canadia: That's a cute card you got there. :)

"If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can Special Summon..."
I don't think Canadia does anything to prevent this.
Blow up all your opponents Geartowns for them.

can cause geartown to miss timing if Phoenix is cl2 or higher
Okay, if ritual lv1 like relinquished is not enough, then this became lv2 instead... What would've been lv3 ritual?
Level is 2 description says 4
