Some common ways to tribute a monster other than to normal summon a higher level monster is by using cards like Enemy Controller, or ritual summoning a monster. Relinquished is a good monster to summon since it's a level 1 ritual monster, and Relinkuriboh's second effect can essentially make Relinquished have 3 lives, making it much harder to destroy by battle. Although your opponent will also be able to see it coming if they see Relinkuriboh in your graveyard.
Using Monster Gate will allow you to summon Relinkuriboh and get tributed right away, allowing you to get an instant draw and not having a low ATK and DEF monster on your field. It's better if your deck consists of some high level monsters to have some synergy, but even if you end up summoning another low level, you can activate Relinkuriboh from your graveyard to keep it alive from 1 battle.
Super Soldier Synthesis can be an easy way to get either Black Luster Soldier, or Sacred Soldier out from your hand or graveyard. It uses 1 less card than the standard Ritual spell since you can use the other material from your deck. Sacred Soldier can also return Relinkuriboh from your banish pile if you've already used its effect before summoning. If you haven't used Relinkuriboh's second effect, you can use it to save your Sacred Soldier from 1 battle, then use cards like Dimension Gate to special summon it again, allowing you to return Relinkuriboh back to the graveyard.
