Exodia cards

Tips

1) Gather every Exodia parts in your hand.

If one of them is missing, you will not be able to win as you do not fit the criteria of having all of them in your hand. This means that hand destruction and deck destruction cards will be very effective against Exodia-dependent decks. These include cards such as Abyssal Designator, Decayed Commander and Warm Worm.

2) Grab some cards that allow you to conveniently draw more cards from your deck

By drawing more cards, you will boost your chance in gathering all five Exodia parts as quickly as possible. Cards such as Skelengel and Shard of Greed may help to exhaust your deck.

Helps to gather normal Exodia pieces when sent from the field to the graveyard. However, this card can benefit your opponent as they are able to get a normal Exodia part too.
Blue Dragon Summoner
Blue Dragon Summoner
When sent from the field to the graveyard, it helps to get normal Exodia parts from your deck as they are Spellcaster-type monsters.
Legion the Fiend Jester
Legion the Fiend Jester
When sent from the field to the graveyard, it helps to gather normal Exodia parts from your deck as they are normal Spellcaster-type monsters.
Warm Worm

Great card for retrieving normal Exodia parts from your graveyard. Able to retrieve multiple normal Exodia parts with this one card as long as conditions are met.
Magician's Circle
Magician's Circle
If your opponent does not use a Magician deck, this card is able to force your opponent to summon Exodia to the field and end up destroying it with your spellcaster-type monster summoned by Magician's Circle. I have been having good luck with this so far.

Regretful rebirth and Blue Dragon Summoner is a really nice combo. Basically you just want to see the body of Exodia early and you search the parts really quickly.

Blizzed and the mimics are flex spots, I have tried a bunch of other stuff, and so far they do the best.

Feel free to make sugestions for these spots, if there are other good spell casters that im forgeting that would be perfect.

Is "Grandpa's Cards" skill available for dropskill after this special duel? Even though individuals arent trying to use the effect of Exodia, ive won twice with it, and would have done a third if it wasnt for connection failure on my opponents part!
I would love to receive this skill after the special event!!
Konami, please make this skill available after the special duel event!!!!

No, this is Skill is only for Yugi Muro when he will playable.

I feel so bad for the people actually trying to summon exodia. I knock em out in like 2 turns lol. Hey I didn't want to be forced to just use a regular beat down deck but since rookie rank I was already getting pummeled by normal decks I wasn't going to keep on loosing trying to summon exodia. The whole event is trash they need to change it so the winning method is getting exodia or something
<< Anonymous(I.C)

I lost 5 in a row trying to do an exodia summon deck, got sick of it, went back to my regular, made it up to S5 with no issues. Dumb. Should have made exodia the win factor.

hahahaha, mister I.C, you say that because probably you can't summon exodia, you try and try but you can't do it :P, just relax and have fun son

I've won both with Exodia deck and beatdown deck. I still think the event is great to show Konami if Exodia is OP or not, so they can release the skill in the future (by the looks of it, it's not gonna be a great deal)
<< Anonymous(I.C)

i agree with the last comment, and if you can see, the deck isn't very OP, you can win or lose against them.. it's funny to play
Climax
I love this Tournament, No field Advantage meaning no more Mako, Rex, and Harpie Decks. Even Relinquished Decks are not that effective.

You must have never made it past silver ranked

relinquished decks are still effective, you've just run up against bad ones. I still use my relinquished deck to great effect. Exodia parts are just tribute summons.

CLEARLY still in silver lol

I am already at Gold 3. Comparing to the Standard Ranked. I find them not much of a Problem.
Clife
So you HAVE to have all exodia parts in your hand and not on the battlefield and hand. This is something that I don't like at all. Guess they definitely should change the wording there
<< Anonymous(Clife)
Claire Reply
They don't need to change the wording; the effect specifically says "in your hand", and that has always been the win condition from the very first booster set. Only time anyone put the Exodia cards on the field was Yami Yugi in the very first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh.

This card has been out for decades, the world doesn't bend to your will. Learn to play the cards correctly the way they are instead of 🔥ing
<< Anonymous(Clife)

If the win condition was on the field or hand then that would be way too broken, especially as they add more cards into duel links

*pushes up glasses* Actually in the show the pieces of Exodia are played as soon as all five are pulled, and single pieces were played by both the Rare Hunter who defeated Joey in the beginning of Battle City, as well as by Gozaburo Kaiba in the Virtual World Arc when he summoned EXodia Necross. Just saying. (Might be more)

DRAW EXODIA!!!

(Empate = Draw in spanish)

My enemy sacrifices his "Emissary of the Afterlife" and both of them get a part exodia, finishing duel a Draw!

literally every opponent I've faced isn't even bothering with the exodia draw. just running regular duel decks. they should have made exodia the winning factor. at least make it challening

Yes, i agree with you. The essence of Special Battle is Exodia Battle. It's about how the player must get all exodia cards quickly. that's the fun factor. i don't know what's on their mind. are they don't know about exodia or they don't understand yu gi oh?

dunno. but to me, it's just boring. same old same old duels. nothing interesting. and all exodia does is clog up all my KoG and other competitive decks. the gem payout isn't really even worth it

Claire Reply
Yeah, even with the 3000 duel assessment for using Exodia's win effect, it's still mediocre, seeing as duel assessment prizes for PvP is always a small amount of keys/gold. Pity.
Muko
so, with everyone wanting to use Draw Power cards Muko is finally being put to good use guys... makes your opponent discard the drawn card when an effect of drawing a card is active xD
