Goyo Guardian

Tetsu is a member of Sector Security who previously tried to arrest Yusei but later became acquainted with him through Jack during the Dark Signer Arc. Fun fact, he was already present as a minor character ever since Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters as a bully. His ace monster is Goyo Guardian.

[Skill] description	How to get
Let's Go Goyo! At the beginning of the Duel, add 2 "Jutte Fighter" to your deck, and 1 " Goyo Guardian" to your Extra deck.	Lvl 4
Reinforcement Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck and draw a random Warrior-Type monster.	Lvl 13
Respect My Authority! This turn, "Goyo" Synchro monsters you control gain 500 ATK per monsters on your side of the field whose original owner is your opponent. This skill can be used once per turn.	Lvl 20
You're Under Arrest! At the beginning of the Duel, add 2 "Goyo" Synchro monsters to your Extra deck.	Drop
Parole! Return 1 monster that has been Special Summoned from your opponent's graveyard to your side of the field to their deck and increase your Life Points equal to the original ATK of that monster. This Skill can only be used once per turn and up to twice per duel.	Event Reward

There is no real canon.
The manga and things like DSoD & even S0 are separate canons.
Future shows like Zexal and Arc-V are separate canons, and their mangas are separate canons.
There is no official timeline, so just take each series for what you want out of it.

No. Canonically Jounouchi is his real name, Joey is just the english dub name.

The different continuities presented in the manga and anime it's been around since gx.
However in the original yu-gi-oh! The manga was written by Kazuki Takahashi himself. As well as the plot of DSoD as continuation of the original manga.
DM anime is just and censored adaptation of Takahashi's manga and by censored I mean the Japanese version as well.

Quite frankly I don't think it matters if they change names of characters. They change names in all countries for a ton of shows this isn't something unique to 4Kids.

if goyo is a card and not just a skill it will get abused even with the errata we have a 20 card deck now so jutte fighter will be twice as likely to be drawn

REAAAAAALY hope you’re under arrest is actually in the game, it sounds like a really cool skill and the go to synchros are really good and fun to pull off, so I hope they don’t screw it up.

I think based on the wording and the pattern of how the 5Ds characters have been handled, Tetsu Trudge's "Let's Go Goyo!" skill will be his Level 1 Skill when he's unlocked.
