Once per turn, you can send 1 "Ice Barrier" monster from your hand to the Graveyard. If you do, Spell Cards cannot be activated until the End Phase of your next turn, as long as this card remains face-up on the field.
You are also prevented from activating Spell cards.
Ice Barrier monsters don't usually synergize with each other and this card requires you to run an Ice Barrier deck to use consistently making.
Ice Barriers usually run more support spells than traps making this cards effect harmful to it's own strategy.
Tips
To lessen this monster's harm on yourself, activating her effect should be the last thing you do during your main phase so that you can activate everything you need.
Ice Barrier
These are the popular cards that are in a regular Ice Barrier Deck, in which each “Ice Barrier” monster has a function of its own. Spell cards include Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier to destroy 1 card your opponent controls while allowing you to Special summon 1 “Ice Barrier” monster, and Moray of Greed to draw additional cards from your deck.
