One of the special summonable monster from the Swordsman's effect. Even if your deck does not contain a lot of normal monsters, being able to special summon a 2100 attack monster after it gets destroyed will prevent you from being defenseless.
Special summon Phoenix Gearfried will let you normal summon it on your next turn, enabling its effects right away. Can be very strong if you can send Phoenix Gearfried to the graveyard early, and your deck has many equip cards to make good use out of his effects.

With the condition of 'destroyed by your opponent's card' does that mean you can attack your opponent with BFS, have it be destroyed by your opponents monster card due to higher atk, then use its special summon effect?
Not many effects that can special summon effect monsters; or it's very specific such as Fire-Warrior.
Amazoness Swordswoman and Boxer seem like good supports with The A. Forces and Sorcerous Spell Wall
Doom Shaman and Card Guard to keep cards from being bestroyed; Fiend doesn't play into The A. Forces but Shaman does which can special summon Sphere Kuriboh and Card Guard once they're in the graveyard.
I'm using Magical Something with ECON, Half Shut and SRH to cycle through those cards.
Riryoku and Rising Energy for atk boost
Cost Down and Double Summon are also very nice since Shaman is a Gemini as is PGfiend
Just waiting for a low lvl fire Warrior or a nice 5-6* Fire Warrior that is played with Cost Down.
The Gearfried I'm talking about is the 4* Gearfried. Activate effect on your turn to make Gearfried ATK 2400, then on opponent's battle phase activate it again to raise Gearfried's ATK to 3000. If its somehow survive, you can use it once again for 3600 ATK beater
