Pros

  • Can destroy a face-up monster and more if they have others in their hand.
  • All monsters with the same name, or descriptions that say their names are treated as the same, will be sent to graveyard as well.

Cons

  • Requires a discard of a spell card from your hand.

Tips

  • It benefits the most if you know your opponent has another monster with the same name in their hand. This is more common in harpie decks or spirit decks.
  • Sword of Deep-Seated can be used if you already have the advantage and don't need other cards.

opps never mind I was wrong. Mistaken that it would destroy the same-name cards in deck as well.

But I think you most likely correct because now there's birdface. So harpie guy often has 2 harpies in hand from my play lately.
