The key to using this deck is maintaining board presence. Combo the Mist Valley monsters to swarm the field, then tribute summon into Swift Birdman Joe and return all your opponent's spell/traps to his hand, and try to end the duel as quickly as possible. Right Back at You can give one of your monsters the attack boost it needs to climb over big enemy monsters.

When you have Mist Valley Thunderbird face-up on your side of the field, you can return him to your hand to special summon Mist Condor. When special summoned this way Mist Condor gains 400 attack points. In addition, when Mist Valley Thunderbird is returned to hand you can special summon him to your field meaning you can special summon as many Mist Condors as you want from your hand.
Tribute a WIND attribute monster when summoning Swift Birdman Joe to return all spell/trap cards on the field to their owner's hands. The best monster to use as tribute would be Kujakujaku so that you can search your deck for another WIND attribute monster.
With enough monsters on your field, The Calculator can become a really powerful beater. Use Judgment of Thunder when you normal summon The Calculator or Mist Valley Thunderbird to destroy your opponent's card and open for a direct attack with your monsters.
