Event Details

Period	July 20 - July 26

For a limited time, Arkana will appear in Duel World! Duel him to obtain exclusive Reward cards!
Arkana drops rarer cards at higher levels!
Raise your stage to duel Arkana at a high level!

Note

Arkana will not appear at the Gate.
The chance of Arkana appearing is not related to the chance of other Standard or Legendary Duelists appearing.
The chance of Arkana appearing is affected bu the use of Duel Orbs/Boosted Duel Orbs.
There can only be one Arkana in Duel World at a time.

Recommended Event Rewards

Card	Explanation
Dark Eradicator Warlock	This card delivers 1,000 damage each time a Normal Spell Card is activated. Add this card along with many Normal Spell Cards to strengthen your Dark Magician deck
Anti-Magic Arrows	With this card, either you nor youyr opponent can activate Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the turn. Activating this card's effect stops the activation of any Spell, Trap,or Monsters effects, use it to avoid strong Trap Cards.

Dark Magician Exclusive Animation

A new animation can be viewed once Arkana summoned his own Dark Magician.

This sure gives me at least a little bit of hope that it's going to be Marik and not Arkana in the event tomorrow. But I expect the "worst" (bad wording, Arkana isn't the worst, but I personally would like Marik better)

I know, but that's Yami Marik. I'd like to see the "normal" one, maybe with some gravekeeper support or something. I know he is somehwere in the game code, I've seen pictures (not like Arkana, but that could change after maintenance tomorrow), so he'll probably appear sooner or later too.

I've looked a little bit into the manga now and it's true. Marik sure does talk a lot about how he has prepared a show for Yugi and how he has set the stage, especially before the duel against controlled Joey.

So I, for one, am not 100% sure about Arkana anymore. But we'll see tomorrow (Kinda exciting not to know for sure who it's going to be).

^Lol, you're a moron. Dimension Gate? 3SD? Labyrinth Builder and Elements Unite for farming? The Paradox Bros brought huge things to the game regardless of whether people like them or not, so don't make dumb comments like this.

Why should Arkana be playable? We already have a playable character who mainly uses "Dark Magician" flavor wise (Yami Yugi) and competitively (Paradox Brothers). He would bring nothing new to the table

Pegasus will return, but it may take some time. If they keep the same pattern in repeating events, then it's going to be pretty much like this:

new character (Yami Marik?), Paradox Brothers, maybe another new character, Pegasus, maybe another new character, Bakura,...

Until now there was always a new character between repeated events. Maybe they keep it that way, maybe they change it, who knows.

Why isn't Ectoplasmer listed here under speculations. Arkana or Pandora in the original Japanese version used the card in the anime vs Yami Yugi. I don't remember anyone other then Arkana using the card in the anime.

Yami Bakura also used Ectoplasmer to beat Bandit Keith's goons in that cemetery episode.
