Event Details

PeriodJuly 12-18

During the event, "Super Joey" will start to appear in duel world. Super Joey uses a different deck than the regular Joey, and you are not able to duel him at the Gate. There are level 30 and 40 versions of him, and both uses Red-Eyes B. Dragon as the theme of the deck. Rewards are similar to regular Joey, but with a few new additions available exclusively from this event.

Combo Example

In the event announcement, an example of a combo is shown. Using Red-Eyes Spirit, you can special summon "Red-Eyes" monsters other than Black Dragon's Chick from the graveyard. Use any fusion monster that uses REBD as part of the fusion material and special summon REBD after the fusion.

All characters should have a "starts with field spell" ability tbh. I mean parasite is nice, but i want forest on tje field when i rock my crappy theme decks

Dude look at the news we are getting a new character this month and you should have knowned that this was an event

I really want Marik back as a character!! ... I think all alter egos need to be a character not just yugi. Just make it so these characters aren't available till you reach level 40-45 or something. The higher I go in levels the less I want to play simply because the Gems come a lot slower and the character rewards don't add up to the competition I have to face at these higher levels. I don't want swamp guard when I'm getting my 🔥 handed to me by a jinzo.... we need more incentives for high level players. I used to have a profile with a awesome dark deck back when marik was open and I lost my phone and didn't back anything up on konami site so I lost everything and had to start from scratch smh... bye bye dark necrofear smh .... give me a reason to keep playing these tournaments are coming to slow and the rewards for the game are to weak.
After level 30 you should get 5 gems per duel won ... if it's a quick victory 10 gems plus reward cards.... they give a lot in the beginning to suck you in than once they have you they stop.... not understand that may make them lose you. But that's just my 2 cents.

Blue-Eyes Is Better
I wish it was Kaiba cause then we could have gotten some more Blue-Eyes support... I mean Red-Eyes is cool and all but compared to Blue-Eyes, its not even close.

This event is such a cop out. Yes I read the event details, but when they say "coming out with new legendary duelist" I assume maybe Regular Marik or someone else will be around for exclusive cards to usher in the Yami Marik event, not stall with a third rate duelist giving out fourth rate cards. It doesn't even give us Red Eyes Wyvern. Not interested.

You're being generous saying 4th rate cards. Maybe complete garbage is more accurate. Event is only good for sr orbs and grinding dualist skills.

I hate this event too. Plus I don't like any of the cards. Red eyes b dragon is a crap version of blue eyes especially now with kaiba man. Plus there are level 6s with higher attack then him.

This event have good SR drop rate, and frequent spawn rate. Only takes 15 mins to spawn new Joey, and have gotten at least 1 SR per duel. But maybe it is just me and my luck today.

I think it's mentioned in the event details on the app that Super Joey's drop rate is better than regular LDs.

It took an encounter with Super Joey to get graceful dice. I been farming him for months and no luck. Oh well better late than never.
