Event Details

Period	July 12-18

During the event, "Super Joey" will start to appear in duel world. Super Joey uses a different deck than the regular Joey, and you are not able to duel him at the Gate. There are level 30 and 40 versions of him, and both uses Red-Eyes B. Dragon as the theme of the deck. Rewards are similar to regular Joey, but with a few new additions available exclusively from this event.

Combo Example

In the event announcement, an example of a combo is shown. Using Red-Eyes Spirit, you can special summon "Red-Eyes" monsters other than Black Dragon's Chick from the graveyard. Use any fusion monster that uses REBD as part of the fusion material and special summon REBD after the fusion.

From Dueling Bakura and a couple weeks worth of savings I clocked in at 5 mil, it's doable with the events.

I was trying to save up Gold in case they finally added the upgrading rarity feature into the Card Trader, but alas that hasn't happened and I spent most of it :/

I know red eyes zombie counted as a "red eyes monster",but it a zombie type monster,you can't use vanguard and kidmodo effect with red eyes zombie,it will be better you add another card

Get rid of riryoku, kidmodo, red eyes black dragon chic, monster reincarnation, blue dragon summoner

Add 3 champion vigilance, 2 red-eyes wyvern, 1 vanguard. 1 enemy controller

Change skill to last gamble or beatdown.

This is the deck list.
Dimension gate is to avoid Miyabi. Once you get rid of it the farm is complete.
Y have only 1 prismatic (econ) and 5 glossy cards (shard, pass, storms) in this deck, if you have more you can get over 8k easily.

7 Tools in unnecessary. Just use 1 storm. Replace Good Goblin Housekeeping with Crystal Seer if you have it. And please put in your 2 copies of Cat of Ill Omen.

The building is flexible, I use 7 tools because I was very lucky with that card box and is very useful since you can use it either to stop kunai or miyami. If you don't have it you can use the cat and storm/flush to get rid back row. Trap Jammer can also be used

BS. Last time, the only new SR card I got was Red-Eyes Spirit, and I only got 1 of that. Out of five duels so far, the only SR card I've gotten from him was Graceful Dice, and I already had 2 of that. These events always pick 2 cards that I can never acquire.

Yeah, you were right. That's good because it means new cards :)

But I still think that a relaunch of an event doesn't always mean that it comes with new rewards. Or maybe Konami learned something from previous events and does that from now on, to keep players interested. Who knows...

Hope to get luckier than last time, I got many grace/skull dice, 3 ishktar, 1 RES and that was it (if I remember correctly). I just hope to get 2 RES this time! They definetely should take the dice out...

Same here, already on stage 60, in total of 14 duels, 13 times dueled against lv.30 and just 1 times dueled lv.40, but that's okay, there's still 4 days left though.

It is possible to finish by day 3, if OP got most of the SR from the first event. In fact I finished this event by day 4, as all I need is 3 Insights and 2 Red Eyes Meteor, which I could get 1 for free.

How do you play around Desert Twister and Spirit Art?
Basically Joey uses Spirit Art to attack me directly and even if I have traps to protect me from attack like enchanted javelin Desert Twister cleans them.

Your best bet is literally luck. Just hope you can get two or more Girls on the field before he can use Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi on you. Desert Twister won't be much of a problem either if you can maintain some Unhappy presence. I think the negative situation you described would be really rare overall.

This event is such a cop out. Yes I read the event details, but when they say "coming out with new legendary duelist" I assume maybe Regular Marik or someone else will be around for exclusive cards to usher in the Yami Marik event, not stall with a third rate duelist giving out fourth rate cards. It doesn't even give us Red Eyes Wyvern. Not interested.

For curiosities sake, I'll be at work all day, if I miss the 3-4 appearances will the game 'bank' those times or will he just appear once and then reset the timer?
I ask if I'd be better off setting up an auto duel if I get a chance or if I should just wait....

just dueled super joey 4 times in a row. i left the game for nearly half a day. then dueled super joey, and he spawned instantly three times after each time i dueled with him.
