Event Details

PeriodJuly 12-18

During the event, "Super Joey" will start to appear in duel world. Super Joey uses a different deck than the regular Joey, and you are not able to duel him at the Gate. There are level 30 and 40 versions of him, and both uses Red-Eyes B. Dragon as the theme of the deck. Rewards are similar to regular Joey, but with a few new additions available exclusively from this event.

Combo Example

In the event announcement, an example of a combo is shown. Using Red-Eyes Spirit, you can special summon "Red-Eyes" monsters other than Black Dragon's Chick from the graveyard. Use any fusion monster that uses REBD as part of the fusion material and special summon REBD after the fusion.

I've noticed that whenever I haven't played for a few hours and then duel an event-character like Super Joey, he appears again right after the duel is over. So can you actually miss a spawn or does it "stack up" if you haven't played for a while? Same goes with normal LDs and the Vagabound.
I noticed this first during the first Super Joey event since I'm not planning to use Red-Eyes decks and therefore didn't play that much back then.

I feel the spawn rate has gone down for S Joey but his drop rate is way up, I had only 1 impact all event and I'm up to 4 just from today. Now if only he would drop 1 more spirit

He spawned on Level 40 after I changed my character and dropped a Red-Eyes Impact...

Well, I'm gonna make some assumptions now:
1. They realized that they made some mistakes with this event, therefore they're giving us more time to collect the right cards
2. The next event is not quite ready and/or is causing some issues, therefore is postponed and Super Joke and the D-A-T will have to fill in in the meantime. Your guesses!

Possible. It's weird that Joey hasn't shown up in my duel world yet, haven't played all night and this morning still nothing (never happened before, and I'm not using Joey so that's not the problem)

Joey hasn't shown up in mine, or any of my friend either. We theory that Konami have kept the artwork up, but have inadvertantly changed the code back to non-event duel world, so Joey won't show up till they fix that.

I think its best to assume Super Joey is completely over and not get hopes up for anything but a buttload of Gems as compensation.

Welp, suddenly haven't seen Joey in a few hours, must be the end of the event. While folk was able to get the cards i missed last time, till only have 1 Insight, which SUCKS but there aren't many targets for it anyway. Oh well, maybe one more will pop before time. *shrugs*

Well this event was a bit of a wash. Luckily they allowed you to win a few cards by dueling Joey enough times. But during this whole event all I got was the dice rolling card (which is kinda useless) and that's about it. The SR cards didn't drop once for me. And now today the 17th (when it ends on the 18th) he hasn't spawned once. :S

Hope I get better luck next time if he even shows up next time.

Why the fuc* would u release this super pric* again i should add and make it next to impossible to get even 1 SR not even farming works im super serial upset not over the sr but i wasted my time and energy for no reason thanks konami and thank you super cun*

It's a shame really didnt get much rare cards either mostly stone of fire etc,r jewel 2 sr jewel and money Omg! 200 gold another 1000 duels and i can buy 1 card

Spawn rate isn't bad.

But his drops are horrible. Not a single SR drop the entire time. But I did get like 7 of all the Rares.

Same here. I dueled him and got 7000 ~ 8000+ pts every time and only have seen like 5 SRs so far. They should really take out the Dices SRs because they are droppable from normal Joey.

Luckier than I have been this event. 7000-8000 every time and i've gotten 2 SR drops, the rest R and boxes. I get better drop rates off the gate LDs
