These are the Six Samurai that has their own set of effects for different purposes. Amongst those who stand out are Zanji and Yaichi, where Zanji destroys the monster it battles after the Damage Step, and Yaichi can have a devastating synergy with Great Shogun Shien, whereby Yaichi destroys 1 set Spell/Trap once per turn, and Great Shogun Shien limits opponent’s Spell/Trap activation, effectively crippling your opponent’s backrow.
If your “Six Samurai” monster was destroyed by battle, you can Special summon 2 “Six Samurai” monsters from your hand, then you can Special Summon Great Shogun Shien from your hand.
If you summoned a level 4 or lower “Six Samurai” monster, you can use this card to make a duplicate of that monster, then Special Summon Great Shogun Shien from your hand.
Coupled with “Aroma Strategy” Skill, you can use Hazy Flame Sphynx’s effect to Special Summon Great Shogun Shien from your hand or graveyard.
These are the combos that synergizes with Great Shogun Shien’s effect, together they effectively cripple your opponent’s backrow and limits their choices of Spell/Trap activation.
