You will use King Dragun as the center of this deck which has it's ups and down sides. Running King Dragun means you will have to run his bad fusion materials. But on the other hand when you do get him out you will be special summoning huge monsters from your hand with protection from targeting. Dragonic Fusion skill puts Dragon's Mirror in your deck which can be used to summon King Dragun or other big monsters if you already have King Dragun on the field.

Dragonic Fusion At the beginning of the Duel, add Dragon's Mirror to your Deck and shuffle it. Then, add Five-Headed Dragon to your Extra Deck. Can be used when your Life Points decrease by 1800. Instead of conducting your normal draw, Dragon's Mirror is added to your hand from your deck. This Skill can only be used once per Duel. | Chazz Princeton |
King Dragun may not be the strongest card in this deck in terms of pure stats, but he is your ace monster as he will be your method of bringing out bigger monsters by special summoning them from your hand once per turn. He also protects your Dragon-type monsters from targeting by your opponent's card effects. Although his base stats are not amazing and your opponent could bring out a monster to run him over. That is why it is best to special summon White Night Dragon with his effect and pair them on the field. White Night Dragon can redirect your opponent's attacks to himself at the cost of 1 spell/trap card on your field.
King Dragun is a fusion monster so we will need to use his fusion materials and polymerization to bring him out. King of the Swamp can be used as a fusion substitute or can be discarded to search out Polymerization. Both of King Dragun's fusion materials are just below average beaters with little use. Lord of D. can protect your Dragon-type monsters from targeting and can in turn be protected by White Night Dragon from battle. Divine Dragon Ragnarok can be used as a fusion material for Five-Headed Dragon.
These are the big monsters you will bring out with King Dragun, you can search them from the deck with Melody of the Awakening Dragon. Additionally since they are Dragon-types they will be protected by King Dragun.
White Night Dragon is immune to targeting from spell/trap cards, which will only be useful if ever your King Dragun gets destroyed. His other effect is more useful because you can send a spell/trap you control to the graveyard to redirect an opponent's attack to him which is useful for protecting lower stat monsters on your field with good effects like King Dragun and Lord of D.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a just a big normal beater. But with 3 in your graveyard you can use Dragon's Mirror to summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. A 4500 attack beater which you will summon with no loss in advantage if done this way.
When you have the right cards in your graveyard you can use Dragon's Mirror to fusion summon into a big beater. This is usually done later in the game when you have exhausted your opponent's resources so that they cannot deal with an extremely high attack monster and this is usually your push to win. However this can also be done when King Dragun is on the field as he will provide these monsters with some protection. Using Dragon-type monsters in the graveyard would mean that you summon these huge monsters without cost except for Dragon's Mirror itself. Do not use Polymerization to summon these monsters because it would be a huge waste of resources.
