Koa'ki Meiru: deck recipe [Sept 13]

Duel Links Koa'ki Meiru Deck, How to Use, Koa'ki Meiru Deck Skill.
update 13/09/2022

It will have some difficulty destroying monsters on its own, but if you play any ATK reducing/increasing cards, this can help get an easy OTK on its own.

Core Overclock

Core Overclock
Core Overclock
Continuous Spell
Infernity Destruction [R]
All face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" to have all face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK until the End Phase.

This can help make the deck into a viable beatdown deck with any of the low level monster, or get over strong boss monsters that Maximus can't destroy with its effect.

Other Extra Decks

Stellarknight Delteros
Stellarknight Delteros
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2100
Shining Hope [UR]
3 Level 4 monsters
While this card has Xyz Material, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when you Normal or Special Summon a monster(s). Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "tellarknight" monster from your hand or Deck.

Xyz into this with the Star Seraphs to get a card removal from Scepter's effect, then use Delteros for another.

Evilswarm Ouroboros
Evilswarm Ouroboros
DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 2750 / DEF 1950
Pendulum Genesis [SR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR]
3 Level 4 monstersOnce per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then activate 1 of these effects. Each effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field.
● Target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand.
● Send 1 random card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard.
● Target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target.

Similar to Delteros, except Ouroboros' effects can only be used once each. Delteros can destroy a card once per turn each turn, but Ouroboros can only remove a card on the field once.

Number 50: Blackship of Corn
Number 50: Blackship of Corn
DARK Plant ★4
ATK 2100 / DEF 1500
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with ATK less than or equal to this card's; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.

A monster removal that mostly works on low level monsters, or dangerous monsters with low ATK like Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir.

Number 18: Heraldry Patriarch
Number 18: Heraldry Patriarch
LIGHT Psychic ★4
ATK 2200 / DEF 2200
Voltage of the Metal [R]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per Chain, during either player's turn, if 2 or more monsters with the same name are on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; choose 1 monster among those with the same name, and destroy all other monsters with that name. While this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Summon monsters with the same name as any of the monster(s) chosen for this card's effect. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 2 "Heraldic Beast" monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Very strong against decks like Harpies or Cyber Dragons since they use monsters with the same name.

"See you later"??
WTH is the skill "see you later" for?
This site owner sometime is just lazy to explain or tidy up the thread. Jeez.

Hey, I'm the creator of the original See you later variant with which I kogged.
You can use the skill on monsters summoned with core reinforcement to avoid the damage when they're destroyed, you can return to the hand monsters with the same type to show at the end of turn, you can trigger effects of Urnight or Maximus twice, you can return to hand monsters you don't want destroyed.. ->

and you can use the effect of Ice then return it to the hand to avoid it being destroyed at the end of the turn, or simply returning to the hand other monsters when you have no cards in hand to trigger the effect of Ice.
It's a very flexible skill and in a deck with monsters that destroy themselves at the end of the turn it can change the result of a duel.

it is really a shame to put a self-destruction effect on such beautiful cards. That is the only reason i don't want to spend my gems on them

That box was ok. Solid Karakuri easy to ss 7* and Fabled is fun to play with Lightray. Ya kao'ki self destruct is annoying. Good thing diamond core is back. Buy the pack when Maximus is back at 3.

I once wished that koa'ki meiru would be dominant because of gaia genesis box, now I deeply regret that wish.

Wanna make a good deck of this? Stock Maximus. You win. Easy

I tried this deck. Sadly its very weak. Dont invest into the box just for this archetype.

This deck needs an update, 1 guy even made it to KOG with it on DLM.
This is my version of it.
And holy moly is it fun.
Koaki Ice goes on a rampage with all the special summoned monsters.
BEWD Dead, Vamps dead, GB super dead, UA dead, etc.
If your hand is bad you lose with any deck ofc.
It's hardest vs Anki, you need Grit to survive the first wave of Anki🔥s, then Trunade + 🔥 everything with ice+Maximus.
The onyl true counter to this deck is Kuribos, which a lots of meta decks have stopped playing.

This archetype has a very special connection to me, they are the first ones that I bought in real life ocg. I enjoy using them in duel links.

Alright it's not a competitive deck but you can easily beat NPC and it's quite fun.

I thought about spiriulism, thr the problem is it's one for one, it works fine with Spellbooks but I rarely encounter SBs that's why I remove it and once I see SBs again I will tech it.

Ddraw has that brutal 2k requirement. I would run it, but like you said it`s easy to play around it. Bandit seems like fun, perhaps I`m trying that.
What if you lose your Max¿ Only Ice could save you vs Fur Hire? One seems a little less for my taste, haha.
LC0 is easy, Espa Roba is the man. But wait are you willing to bait? I am curious now :D

Sandman is really good but the idea of tributing him to negate a trap usually disrupt my otk plan, with spiritualism or any one for one remover you will need him but with 3 hey trunade you will rarely need him.

I thought about the one max problem but the thing is I usually die before I summon another max as it's costy to summon and costy to maintain, playing with one max makes it harder to decide but lesser to brick
