The most unexpected tech on my RE fusion deck againt the first Synchro version of BE.

So I've been finding that when a monster equipped with this destroys a monster, and then activate it's graveyard effect on a separate turn (in my case, a Amarylease), it's still negated.

Is this how the ruling for card works normally?

this equip is quite OP against graveyard effect tuners..

ooh, this would work a lot for yubel decks. Your monster gets a power boost and you send yubel to GY

Yubel: "When this card is DESTROYED"

Yubel TI: "When this FACE-UP card leaves the FIELD"

There's a reason nobody used this card in Yubel decks ;)

Even if they did have a Peten the Dark Clown-style trigger, they'd still miss their timing if ditched to activate Flamberge.

Also, Yubel decks don't run anything other than the 0 ATK Terror Incarnate/Ultimate Nightmare that are likely to stay on the field for more than a turn, so an Equip, especially one with an activation cost, isn't very useful anyway.

I don't see the appeal. Enemy controller is so common that you'd never get your attack off. Not to mention masturbation chain decks like cybers and sylvan are better combated with common destruction jammer. Its too easy to destroy a monster and there goes 3+ cards.

How valuable is the "NEGATE THE EFFECTS OF YOUR OPP'S DESTROYED MONSTERS" in the current meta versus using another equip?

Very valuable. One of the strongest equip spells. The only other equip spell that can compete with it is Black Pendant (commonly used in rush decks).

It is very decent but there is more then only 2 good equip spells dragon sword is good. Dragon decks a strong and common and most other equip spells a defiantly usable

No. because Phenix effect doesn't activate when it is destroyed by battle.

Never ended up getting this card. I spent so many gems to get most of the cards in that stupid card pack and never got this one, as well as fusion gate. Nowadays it pisses me off cause I missed out on both and keep facing opponents that have this card and screw me over with it often enough.

One of the things I dislike about this game is eventually once all the characters are leveled up, there will be a small trickle of gems coming down from daily tasks or duels where you can barely get any cards from card packs unless you pay real world money.

58 gems to spare, 30 minutes left and finally got ONE. Wish I could have gotten more Kuribos or a Spell Jammer but I'm not paying :)

I don't go into battle without at least one of these cards, tho I prefer 2. Well worth the discard

Doesn't work at all against Relinquished. Not sure if that's a bug or if I'm just misunderstanding effect negation.

It says negate the activation of monster you destroy, meaning effects like 4 starred lady bug and yomi ship effects would be negated if you destroy them with the monster equipped to this card
