Even if they did have a Peten the Dark Clown-style trigger, they'd still miss their timing if ditched to activate Flamberge.
Also, Yubel decks don't run anything other than the 0 ATK Terror Incarnate/Ultimate Nightmare that are likely to stay on the field for more than a turn, so an Equip, especially one with an activation cost, isn't very useful anyway.
So I've been finding that when a monster equipped with this destroys a monster, and then activate it's graveyard effect on a separate turn (in my case, a Amarylease), it's still negated.
I don't see the appeal. Enemy controller is so common that you'd never get your attack off. Not to mention masturbation chain decks like cybers and sylvan are better combated with common destruction jammer. Its too easy to destroy a monster and there goes 3+ cards.
Never ended up getting this card. I spent so many gems to get most of the cards in that stupid card pack and never got this one, as well as fusion gate. Nowadays it pisses me off cause I missed out on both and keep facing opponents that have this card and screw me over with it often enough.
One of the things I dislike about this game is eventually once all the characters are leveled up, there will be a small trickle of gems coming down from daily tasks or duels where you can barely get any cards from card packs unless you pay real world money.
It says negate the activation of monster you destroy, meaning effects like 4 starred lady bug and yomi ship effects would be negated if you destroy them with the monster equipped to this card
This card is so broken!!! Its lost me two games now!! (KC Cup). First it didn't negate an effect which got me destroyed. THEN i attacked a monster with lower attack because i had this card equipped (me 2200 him 2100) and my monster was destroyed!!! Fix this shit!!!
