Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy another face-up "Six Samurai" monster you control instead.

  • Self Protection effect requires you to destroy another Six Samurai monster.
  • Semi-specific Synchro materials.

Tips

  • Having both Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En and Great Shogun Shien on the field at the same time does not mean you lock your opponent out of activating Spell/Trap cards. Spell/Trap cards negated by Shi En do not count towards the one activation Great Shogun Shien allows.

Summoning

Normal Summon Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki and use his effect to Special Summon Kagemusha of the Six Samurai or Secret Six Samurai - Genba and use them to make Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En.

You can Normal Summon Secret Six Samurai - Fuma and then Special Summon Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan and use both monsters to Synchro Summon Shi En.

Revival

You can only revive Shi En if he was Synchro Summoned properly first. Use Cunning of the Six Samurai to send a Six Samurai monster on your field and revive Shi En.

You can revive Shi En with Return of the Six Samurai. And instead of destroying Shi En during the End Phase, you can use his protection effect to destroy another Six Samurai monster you control instead.

This card isn't all that bad. The problem is that it's WAY too easy to get out on the field. It's all the support cards that allow you to summon it on the first turn that are the killer.

So why is Fur Hire Wiz limited 2 when the condition is similar except u actually have to discard a Fur Hire card to activate this effect when this 🔥 🔥 is so easy to summon due to samurai’s kit with decent damage and effect of negation WITH NO COST AT ALL???? 🔥 KOMONEY at its best

How can you swarm 2 Shi En into the field? By using other SixSam cards.

How can you swarm 2 Wiz into the field? By using other Fur Hire cards. You can discard another copy of Wiz to negate, then revive that copy with Mayhem.

Let me see now, Shi En, Lava Golem, Floodgate, Canadia, Swordswoman, princess, WoD, Yubel, and what else has caused me to lose recently.....oh yeah, Stromberg, AG, Lavals, Madolche

I've lost to all these things, so they should be banned. Oh and Hazy's ban them too, they beat my Six Sams.

There is only 2 solution for this problem
1- make this card forbidden forever
2- reprint this card or it's support cards with new effect
