You can Ritual Summon this card with "Black Illusion Ritual". Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; equip that target to this card. (You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card with this effect.) This card's ATK and DEF become equal to that equipped monster's. If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy that equipped monster instead. While equipped with that monster, any battle damage you take from battles involving this card inflicts equal effect damage to your opponent.

The effect of this card is very useful to remove a monster that cannot be destroyed by card effect such as Water monsters with Sea Lord's Amulet.
Excellent with the effect of Sphere Kuriboh. You can ritual summon this monster only banishing a Sphere Kuriboh in your graveyard.

Cons

Takes up spell/trap slots in your field when its effect is used.
Zero stats.

Tips

Bring Sphere Kuriboh to summon this much more easily.

Man I love this card, running a deck centered around around relinquished is awesome. It's definitely not invincible, but I usually win with a relinquished type deck.

You should read your opponent's card effect when dueling, Toon Kingdom prevents Toon monster to be targeted by card effect.

Why in the world would they make a guy with such a powerful effect a level 1. There are effectless beater ritual guys like the greasy hamburger that are lvl 6 and u can get lvl 4 beaters with basically the same stats.

He's still alright imo but they have released a ton of broken 🔥 to the game by this point so it doesn't really stand out. Although it's silly that he is better than every other ritual because of the cost.

The cost is what makes him. U basically never offer tribute for him it's just graveyard freebies

Cards like Interdimensional Matter Transporter or Metalmorph doesn't work by relinquished. Just a Bug or normal?

I used it on monster face-up defence position(The unhappy girl's effect).It does not increase it's attack.And I loss the match.Wtf...

Traps will not work on it if the ritual tribute is Djinn Disserere of Rituals. Maybe you should try to understand how things work instead of going around being pissed of whatever Konkani is. :/

I think so, due to Djinn of Rituals' effect, perhaps. Konkani seems to be Konami distorted.

So I been thinking that relinquished is only really weak to spell/traps. And psychics are bad at handling monsters. This combo clears back row and monsters. Ideally I would swap double summon for BRL and Planet for Sonic Bird. Thoughts?
