text

Once per turn, if an activated card effect tosses coins, immediately after it resolves, apply the following effect(s), depending on the number of heads.
● 1+: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
● 2+: Destroy 1 card your opponent controls.
● 3+: Look at your opponent's hand and discard 1 card from their hand.
When an effect is activated that tosses a coin 2 or more times: You can banish this card from your GY; treat all the results as heads.

Pros

  • Extra effects for getting heads and does not punish you when with negative effect when you get tails.
  • Graveyard effect allows you to control the coin toss.

Cons

  • Coin toss effects are generally unreliable.

Tips

Barrel Dragon

Barrel Dragon monsters flip multiple coins for their effect activation, meaning that proton blast could get its second and third effect out. The graveyard effect of Proton Blast can also be used with Barrel Dragon monster's coin flip effects.

Support

  • Second coin toss is a must in any coin flip effect deck to give them more consistency.
  • Lucky Punch and Gamble should only be used when you are losing and desperate for a comeback, otherwise they can cause you to lose. Lucky Punch can help you get the better effect of Proton Blast out because it flips 3 coins. And Using the Graveyard effect of Proton Blast with Lucky Punch lets you draw 3 cards. Although you should be very careful, because the destruction of a face-up Lucky Punch Damages you 6000 LP.

Other coin toss effects

Here are some other cards with coin toss effects. Sand Gambler's effect also tosses 3 coins meaning you can use the good field effects and graveyard effect of Proton Blast.

Is there a reason why this card doesn't activate with the effect of Ms Judge?

Does Barrel Dragon Destroy Photon Blast once it uses it ability?

I'm gonna need to level grind Keith for this when the new EX Structure Deck comes out.

Know what would be cool? If we had something other than Barrel Dragon to use this card's three heads effect, and while we are at it something other than Barrel & Twin-Barrel to use this card at all!

You forgot about Toon Barrel Dragon! We also have Sand Gambler and Lucky Punch. Blowback Dragon and Gatling Dragon are the only "good" cards that flip 3 coins. (And Desperado Barrel Dragon, but that's well outside Duel Links' power level.)

The only others that toss 3 are Gambler of Legend and Chaos Neos. Should also mention Twin Barrel and BIG Win!? are the only activated toss-2 effects.

No one is realistically going to use Sand Gambler of Lucky Punch, and Toon Barrel Dragon is just a Toon re-skin of vanilla Barrel Dragon, so yeah, I think that the only cards we have that someone is going to use with this are Twin-Barrel and Barrel Dragon.

I use 3 Sand GAmbler and 3 Lucky Punch in my Luck on your side deck. I got to legend 1 with the deck. Lucky Punch is VERY good because all opponents run Cosmic Cyclone which banishes and doesn't destroy.

can you post your deck list? I want to make a coin flipping deck and yours sounds pretty good!

I hope the leak is fake - getting just one copy of this card would be useless when the entire point of this card was to run 3 copies of it.

lol no, 1 would be enough.

You need at least 2.

1 in your Graveyard to banish so that all 3 coins are Heads, and 1 face-up on the field, with all three effects activating since the banished copy makes all 3 coins be Heads.

You don't NEED multiple copies. It helps, but I don't think the idea is to use all 3 effects every turn. Just to give you a bonus once per turn if you use coin toss cards.

This is pretty nice.

does this card activate say 3 effects or one if you get 3 heads?

All three, 2 Heads = 1st n 2nd effect, 1 Head = Only 1st effect
