The deck is built to counter meta decks/cards including Karate Man FTK deck, Wonder Balloon deck, 4-Starred Ladybug of Doom, and other meta decks. You can prevent Karate Man's attack from being conducted by using Sphere Kuriboh or Enemy Controller, destroy Wonder Balloon with Twister, and offset the effect of 4-Starred Ladybug of Doom by attacking with a high level monster.

| 3 | Activate Mythic Box to destroy a monster your opponent contorls. Send Blue Dragon Summoner to your opponent side of the field. |

| 5 | The attack inflicts battle damage and the effect of the summoner gives you a non-effect monster from the deck. |
By using Switcheroo, you will collect Blue Dragon Summoner or Gravekeeper's Recruiter and Enemy Controller. Send a high level monster or useless spell card (will be Twister if your opponent does not use a Wonder Balloon, an equip spell, or skills starting a duel with activated field spell) into the deck to get the other card.

Riryoku Field woks very well to defeat the deck since it can offset the activation of two key spells of the deck. Additionally, the Card Trader requires you to pay only Gold for the card.
