Well, it's a card first printed in OCG in 2001. Which is like, just a few years after the franchise started. No wonder it's garbage now, the card's more than 20 years old.

The intention of this card is to stop your opponent from Monster Reborning your destroyed monster and use it against you.

But yeah, even back during the time this card is first printed, that's useless, most of the time people prefer to Monster Reborn their own monster, not the enemy's monster, because if they can destroy the enemy's monster, chances are it's weaker than what they have anyway

This card is really good if you absolutely want to have a specific card at the bottom of your deck. This happens very often, right?

Last game´s update informed us that this card and Lady Panther would be able to use their effects at the end of the Battle Phase instead in order to be usable in Duel Links.
