Excavate cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the number of "Noble Arms" Equip Spells you control, and if you do, add 1 of them to your hand, also place the remaining cards on top of your Deck in any order. You can banish this card from your GY, except the turn this card was sent to the GY; Special Summon from your Deck, 1 "Noble Knight" monster with a different name from the cards you control or in your GY. You can only use this effect of "Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again" once per turn.

1k Gems then dip.

Then save your gems for future minibox/box/structure decks. It's what I'm going to do.

No you need 3 merlin so don't bother as a f2p there's not even at least one good card in it like unexpected Dai or bad aim like in other EX SD

Will this be the new theme of Ex decks? I hope not. I mean this is good for new players but for old players that already have those cards, if they buy this box, most of the cards they will get are reprints.

Noble knights habe always been a brick and with how relevant floodgate and canadia are I doubt it will do much (getting all your equips to the GY when getting flipped wastes too many resources)

Don't be too down on yourself yet. If by investment you chased Medraut and got a playset or you cashed in dream tickets for him, you might still be in the catbird seat. I have strong doubts that he'll appear in the structure deck.

They have access to generic back row removal and other limited cards so...

Well, unfortunately one of NK's best supports still isn't here (Excaliburn) as it typically deals with 5 of the 6 cards you mentioned.

But without it, Destiny can prevent pops dealing with 3 of those cards.

Morgan is NK's "no" card which we won't be seeing and that's a shame.

I would see Floodgate and Canadia being the biggest problems since the XYZ's float into the lesser NKs. 1/2

2/2 the biggest threats for the deck are getting flipped facedown and non-destruction removal (getting removed from play, bounced, etc). The old school protect the castle strategy doesn't hold up well in DL because of the lack of space. Hell, Kaijus and Stormforth absolutely griefs this deck, use Share the Pain for days.

Nobke knight decks are tied to play balance a deck with more than 4 equip spells bricks terribly hard

A decent line up is: one of each, two of destiny. Also you could consider tech'ing in Swords at Dawn if you have it. Since they all bounce it's not as necessary to load up and the XYZ's all equip from GY on summon.

Never played with noble knights since I had already stopped yugioh. Is it me or merlin seems a bit op and annoying card??

its lonefire blossom but for noble knights. itll be interesting but they are still super vulnerable to all the good s/t we have in the game that wasnt around in the tcg when they were somewhat playable. stuff like wall of disruption, drowning mirror force, floodgate trap hole. And until they get excalibur even simple targeting will ruin them. iirc merlin barely helped in the tcg

Hey there, I was an IRL NK player for sometime. Merlin is primarily seen as "lonefire blossom" and that's not inaccurate. However, those 2nd and 3rd effects allow you to quick xyz/synchro in the battle phase.

The big play is to get multiple knights on board, attack with all then Merlin into a bulky Artorigus and swing for game.

I'm hoping that this EX goes for big air and includes Medraut.

This deck is okay, at just 1 copy of the deck.

Not excellent, but it's okay.

But that's just my opinion.
