Overview

Who should buy this deck?

This structure deck focuses on Silent Magician monsters making it an easy way for people to build a Silent Magician deck, without pulling through hundreds of Echoes of Silence packs.
Gold Sarcophagus is a great way to search out any card from your deck and banishing them face-up could give you some cool interactions. Definitely a good addition to any Exodia decks, Mill decks, or any other decks that need that extra search without minding to stall. Also good for decks that can bring back their banished cards, to immediately make use of the search.
The non-LV Silent Magician can be considered both a boost and a counter to Spellbooks. As a Spellcaster-type monster she has a Natural Synergy with Spellbooks, and with Spellbook's ability to keep hand advantage you can always keep her at a decent attack. Conversely, when used against a Spellbook deck she can efficiently stop Spellbook of Fate making the opponent's Spellbook deck much less threatening.

Spellbound Silence [UR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Spellcaster-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card gains 500 ATK for each card in your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can negate the activation. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Silent Magician" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Silent Magician", ignoring its Summoning conditions.

dunno who they are, but this is not pay to win at all, just reached kog with my old and reliable Red Eyes :D!, man it took me a while!, but I can't complain because I haven't bought packs since CRIMSON KINGDOM LOL!, however... the new Fur Hires seem AWESOME!

This is a dangerous slope. If Konami knows people will pay for such an overpriced deck then what's to stop them from releasing boxes and putting the core cards for the decks behind a paywall. It's not that bad yet but it could get messy fast.

You don't need silent magician, it's a commodity, not a need.
You can't hate about everything duel links realeases, that's just not cool, and puts you in evidence; you come here only to spread dark rumors that are not true at all.

There are people who reached King of Games this month with Hazys, Swamp Hazys and Red Eyes Zombies among other old decks. BUT GUESS WHAT?, YOU DON'T KNOW IT, how could you? because you don't play the game.

You don't hit the [DUEL] button, you don't play in ranked duels, and perhaps you don't even have an account in the game.

You've been sent here, to spread lies about Duel Links.
You've been doing this since it's release, what is your goal? ruining the game? what are you SO AFRAID OF? other's people money?, I don't think there's any more destructive people than you in the world guys, you don't need to worry. "An eye for an eye, "A tooth for a tooth"; such rule applies only to you people, why are you so scared?. No one is going to do harm to you.

personally id like it if they made one deck for gems, its really not nice to cut off the f2p people completly. i know they give away a really good amount of stuff, but you cant even get one copy if you dont pay(im a paying player and i dont really feel like buying the deck atm).

The others are simply regular people who are the types to protect or support Konami's bad decision makings for whatever stupid reason.

I would not be surprised if when the next ban list comes out sm is on it. Not for being overpowered but because they want us to buy the next expensive thing. If we are spending real money on a virtual card then it should never be aloud to be limited. I don't have a problem spending 20,00 gems on something just as long as it's obtainable and won't be limited to 1 or 2 after no one is buying it anymore.

What Konami is doing is playing a Cash Grab (Scam). We've all seen the pattern. They intentionally release something overpowered, nerf it, and then release support to try to get you to spend money. Then, they will repeat the process. However, a new scam was brought to Duel Links. Konami nerfed all meta decks except Spellbooks to bait f2p Spellbook players to buy the EX deck behind a paywall.

Would be awesome to see a trading system with other players implemented. For example if you own 4 or more of a card you can trade with someone else who has 4 or more of a different card. Just a thought.

Literally the only card people want that is obtainable from a box is LV8. Silent Magician and Gold Sarcophagus are locked behind a paywall, excluded from the rest of the players. Blazeman and Vyon are obtainable to everyone because you can buy the first box with gems. This one actually requires money.
