It has a card removal effect that almost works like Diamond Dire Wolf and a rank-up effect that works differently than just adding a higher rank on top of it.
You can use its effect to destroy Burning Abyss so you can trigger Burning Abyss monsters' effect while they sent to the grave.
But sometimes it's recommended to go after backrows first since it will be a huge problem if the monsters you special summoned get stopped by something like Floodgate Trap Hole or even Book of Moon.
Ghostrick Alucard | DARK Zombie ★3 ATK 1800 / DEF 1600 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 3 monsters Monsters your opponent controls cannot target face-up "Ghostrick" monsters, or any face-down Defense Position monsters, for attacks, except this one. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Set card your opponent controls; destroy that target. You can only use this effect of "Ghostrick Alucard" once per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 other "Ghostrick" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. |
To destroy your opponent's backrow so you can more safely attack your opponent.
Number 20: Giga-Brilliant | LIGHT Insect ★3 ATK 1800 / DEF 1800 |
Number Hunter: Kite Tenjo Unlock Event [SR] | |
2 Level 3 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all face-up monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK. |
To be used to rank up into Corebage only.
Digital Bug Corebage | LIGHT Insect ★5 ATK 2200 / DEF 1800 |
Infinite Ray [R] | |
2 or more Level 5 LIGHT Insect-Type monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by detaching 2 Xyz Materials from a Rank 3 or 4 Insect-Type Xyz Monster you control, then using that Xyz Monster as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; shuffle it into the Deck. Once per turn, if the battle position of a monster(s) on the field is changed (except during the Damage Step): You can attach 1 Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard to this card as Xyz Material. |
Useful as a follow-up after using Book of Moon on your opponent's monster, allowing you to remove a monster without having to attack.
Its effect to attach new materials will see some use if it survives since you will most likely be switching a defense position Dante to attack sometimes.

This month I got KOG on the third. This meta was very interesting. BA has very good matchups but the it requires you to understand the deck. Below are a few tips for the deck.
Game Play Tips:
The deck's main game plan is to go into Beatrice. If you are unable to try to just settle for Dante. The idea of the deck is to cycle with Cir and Dante while trying to control the board. I included Wightprincess and kiteroid to survive a turn. I also include BLS to be able to help with the mirror and banish two monsters The skill makes Farfa a board clearer for monsters that are very troublesome. I include the phantom knight and shark XZYs monsters to help steal games. Finally, most of the decks that I faced were Galaxy-Eyes and Luna Lights.
Matchups:
Mirror
DDD
Galaxy-Eyes:
Lunalights:

It's a pretty basic Burning Abyss deck. You use your backrow and Dante to throw Malebranches into the Graveyard and use their effects. Alucard helps clear backrow, Corebage for just getting rid of annoying Defense position monsters etc.
