Tackle Crusader | EARTH Rock ★4 ATK 1500 / DEF 1800 |
Yugi Muto [SR] | |
If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can activate 1 of these effects.● Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change that target to face-down Defense Position.● Target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand. This turn, your opponent cannot activate cards with the same name as the card returned to the hand by this effect. |
Can be sent to the Graveyard by Beatrice effect which is good disruption techs when your opponent special summons monsters.
If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon Blackwing - Gust the Backblast or Junk Forward from your hand.
Special Summon Blackwing - Gust the Backblast or Junk Forward and then Tribute Summon Hazy Flame Peryton or Hazy Flame Sphynx.
If you want to run Dynatherium, keep in mind that, when you Special Summon it from your hand via its own effect, your opponent will be allowed to Special Summon a Level 4 monster from either player’s Graveyard, if there are any.
Blackwing - Gust the Backblast | DARK Winged Beast ★3 ATK 900 / DEF 1400 |
Blackstorm Rising [R] | |
If you control no cards, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If your opponent's monster attacks a "Blackwing" monster you control, the attacking monster loses 300 ATK during the Damage Step only. |
Junk Forward | EARTH Warrior ★3 ATK 900 / DEF 1500 |
Synchro Connection [R]
If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). |
Hazy Pillar | Continuous Spell |
Rage of Volcano [R] | |
You can Normal Summon "Hazy Flame" monsters for 1 less Tribute. Once per turn: You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control; attach 1 "Hazy Flame" monster from your hand or your side of the field to that Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material. |
Hazy Pillar is a key component to this deck. Since most of your deck is composed of level-6 monsters, you will need this to put your monsters onboard. The second effect is highly useful, giving you a good source of material for your Xyz monsters which allows them to constantly use their effects.
Xyz Block | Counter Trap |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
When your opponent activates a monster effect: Detach 1 Xyz Material from a monster you control; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster. |
With Hazy Pillar providing a constant source of Xyz Material, Xyz Block is more than worth using for on-demand monster effect negation.
Like most FIRE Decks, Hazy Flame is a good host for the Invoke Engine. This gives your Deck a lot more damage output and easy field presence with Invoked Purgatrio. Purgatrio is a very offense oriented monster due to the combination of its self boost, multi-attack, and piercing effect.
Aleister the Invoker | DARK Spellcaster ★4 ATK 1000 / DEF 1800 |
Dark Dimension [UR] | |
(Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY, then target 1 Fusion Monster you control; it gains 1000 ATK/DEF until the end of this turn. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: You can add 1 "Invocation" from your Deck to your hand. |
Invocation | Normal Spell |
Dark Dimension [UR] | |
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand as Fusion Material. If Summoning an "Invoked" Fusion Monster this way, you can also banish monsters from your field and/or either player's GY as Fusion Material. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Aleister the Invoker"; shuffle this card into the Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Invocation" once per turn. |
Invoked Purgatrio | FIRE Fiend ★8 ATK 2300 / DEF 2000 |
Aerial Assault [UR] | |
"Aleister the Invoker" + 1 FIRE monster This card gains 200 ATK for each card your opponent controls. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. |
Onslaught of the Fire Kings | Normal Spell |
Return of the Fire Kings [SR]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Its effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Onslaught of the Fire Kings" per turn. |
Pretty useful as an opener since you can special summon almost any monster from the deck. But running this in the deck can give a small chance of failure for Sphynx's effect, so you'll have to be careful about your chances.
Since the effect is negated and it's destroyed during the end phase, you can either special summon a monster just to be a tribute fodder, or special summon Cerbereus so that you can get the search effect when it's destroyed during the end phase.
If you already have a Cerbereus in the graveyard, you can special summon Arvata so that it will special summon the Cerbereus during the end phase which will also get destroyed right away for a search effect.
Number 25: Force Focus | LIGHT Machine ★6 ATK 2800 / DEF 2400 |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Level 5 or higher Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate the effects of that opponent's face-up monster, until the end of the turn. |
Decent stats and an effect that will be used to turn off enemy boss monster effects.
Number 70: Malevolent Sin | DARK Insect ★4 ATK 2400 / DEF 1200 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3. |
The deck can special summon level 4 monsters pretty easily with cards like Sphynx, Onslaught, or Veil so you can make this. It's effective if your opponent only has 1 monster on the field so you can attack directly to secure some games.
Number 50: Blackship of Corn | DARK Plant ★4 ATK 2100 / DEF 1500 |
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with ATK less than or equal to this card's; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. |
Even though this card doesn't have that much ATK, it can be helpful when you go against something like Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir and Ritual Beast Ulti-Pettlephin so you can make faster plays.
Diamond Dire Wolf | EARTH Beast ★4 ATK 2000 / DEF 1200 |
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them. |
The deck is full of monsters Diamond Dire Wolf can target for destruction. Hazy Pillar will also replenish Dire Wolf's Xyz material, allowing you to use his effect every turn. However, it can be difficult to make Dire Wolf because you will need to use two Battling Boxer Veil.
Sword Breaker | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 2700 / DEF 1000 |
Shining Hope [R] | |
2 Level 6 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to declare 1 Monster Type; this card gains the following effect. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster of a Type that has been declared: Destroy that monster. |
Sword Breaker's effect can be amazing against certain archetypes that only use one type of monster. The effect has no time limit, so anything you declare will last as long as Sword Breaker is on the field.
