Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand as Fusion Material. If Summoning an "Invoked" Fusion Monster this way, you can also banish monsters from your field and/or either player's GY as Fusion Material. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Aleister the Invoker"; shuffle this card into the Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Invocation" once per turn.

Pros

  • Can use monsters from both graveyards as material.
  • Self recovery.
  • Retrieves Aleister the Invoker.

Cons

  • Practically useless without Aleister the Invoker in your hand, field or graveyard.

Tips

Invoke

Aleister is able to search Invocation when he is Normal Summoned. Use Invocation to make your Invoked monsters while banishing Aleister from your field or graveyard. You can then activate Invocation in your graveyard to return it the deck and return the banished Aleister to your hand, this sets you up for another Fusion Summon.

You guys think that they will add more Invoked cards like Invoked Mechaba in the next few boxes? Recently theres been a pattern of them adding more good cards from archtypes a few boxes later. Like with Darklords and whatnot.

Certainly. My guess is the rest of the Invoked will be spread to 3 different main boxes like Elemental Heroes.

1. Fire + Elysium
2. Wind
3. Light + Book of Law

Well, we already have Purgatrio (the FIRE one)......

And no signs of the other cards anytime soon.

Has anyone made a deck balancing with 3 Invocation, 3 aleister? I figure it could work well if you have a healthy balance of monsters/fusion materials. Maybe fusion substitutes to substite for aleister if you haven't drawn him yet.

Nah, 3 Invovation is too much. I would replace one with econ or backrow removal

3 invocation is kinda too much. In general, you need Aleister to even use this spell. Getting 3 kind of this card without Aleister is a total brick

It also works as polymerisation for non-Invoked fusion monsters in the hand. And you can also use fusion substitutes to substitute for Aleister.

3 copy increase the risk of getting this without aliester, and that was pretty bad. Also, using fusion sub will decrease your change to draw aliester or a backrow.
TK
Do NOT bother to get 3 copies of this. I ended up with 3, as I got my 3rd copy in the same collection of ten packs as my 3rd Invoker.

This card is great, but you at MOST need two copies. The deck recycles it almost to well, and you can end up with dead copies floating at you like crazy.

I use one copy in my neos fusion deck, but two copies is probably fine if it's a more pure invocation deck! (Since you have access to more of the fusions, as Neos Fusion is a Limit 2)

3 copy is kinda too much. It need aliester in the first place to summon invoked monster ( and also fusion from the graveyard ). It is nothing more than polymerization without it. Remember, Aliester can add this card, but this card cant add aliester.

i wonder how many know the trivia behind these cards

This invoca per turn right.
Why player able to use invoca twice per turn

Only the second effect is once per turn. You can still fuse with it more than once.

Works well with Neos Fusion decks.

It's only related to the Geargia archetype but it's not part of it.
Thank you very much!
..... and the wind up got winded up.
This deck is pretty good if you get to go first. But yes, going second means it's very hard ...
