Level Up! Is the most useful card to quickly summon Armed Dragon LV10 out from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. Level Modulation can only be used if your Armed Dragon LV10 was Special Summoned correctly without using Level Up!, you can Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your graveyard, ignoring its summoning conditions.

Stamping DestructionStamping Destruction

Since Armed Dragon LV10 is able to clear all face-up monsters your opponent controls, you can consider using Stamping Destruction to manage their backrow Spell/Traps to reduce the hindrance during your attack.

Tips

  • Very important to know that, you must Tribute 1 “Armed Dragon LV7” from your field to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your hand. You cannot attack with “Armed Dragon LV7” and Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your Deck during your End Phase.
  • You can use Kidmodo Dragon to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV5 from your hand, and then either use it to attack, or use Level Up! To Special Summon Armed Dragon LV7 from your hand or deck, then use another Level Up! To Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10 from your hand or deck.
  • Due to the tedious process to get this monster out to the field, it is very challenging to be used in the current competitive meta.

Just like a lot of people here mentioned, it's too slow. You can run it if you want a big beater and a Lightning Vortex effect at all times, but you can also discard it for lvl 5 and 7 effects if you want to.

It truly is a powerful card, it just requires too much investment when it's not that much better than LV7. Plus running it means you run the risk of opening LV7 and LV10, and the even LV5. It just adds potential clog. Run it for fun if you'd like, but be prepared for the potential clog :p

There is a mistake here. As far as I am aware, Lvl up cannot be used to summon this card as it must be mentioned in the card text, so lvl up will bring out.... lvl 5.
Armed dragon lvl 10 is summoned by his own effect, not lvl 7s.

Super rush headlong is useless againist this monster. It can destroy all face up monsters and super rush won't work on face down monsers

GameA please update the page. Level up does not work. If you level up on Lv7 it gives you Lv5. Possible bug but Lv5 is in Lv7 card text so probably not.

Definitely not a bug. Armed Dragon Lvl 10 is not in Armed Dragon Lvl 7's level up effect so Level Up doesn't work on it.

Also can confirm level modulation doesn't work. Sent Lv10 to grave with Lv7s effect. Tried to use level modulation to bring back lv10. No goose.

Level 10 would have had to be summond by it's effect first before you can use Level Modulation on it. It works like this for every Level monster that can't be special summoned (Except by Level Up).

So here's my issue with this card. Let's say you control LV7 and you draw LV10. Why not just discard LV10 for LV7's effect rather than tribute LV7, summon LV10, and then have to discard another card for LV10's effect? There aren't many relevant monsters with >3000 ATK anyway, so otherwise you're mostly just going -1 for some better stats. Not sure if that's really worth it.

Lvl 7 REQUIRES a monster this can use any card. use this card in a destiny draw deck with spell absorbing life

Yeah, so why not just use LV10 as the discarded monster? Now everything face-up with 3000 ATK or less is dead, and you don't lose any other cards in your hand like you would with LV10's effect. LV10 might be better on subsequent turns, but at that point, either your opponent finds a way to get around it or you've already won anyway.
