Reverse Trap.

None of those cards work during Damage Calculation (in fact, not at any point of the Damage Step). That includes Reverse Trap, since it's considered to be a card that affects effects that change ATK and DEF, rather than affecting ATK and DEF itself.

Still good counters (Reverse Trap for your turn only), but they won't make the opponent waste 2000 LP.

True, but there's a way around this... much like with Caninetaur, the way to stop this madness is changing her to defense position before attacking her.

You pay during the DMG Step ONLY. That is the safe zone.
Outside the safe zone is 🔥 zone.

It makes me sad people don't see why this card is so good.

It's effect is "If: you can" and it explicitly activates during the damage step. It can not miss timing, and its effect can't hardly be negated or even responded to with almost any other card effect. Additionally, it's base ATK of 400 is so low that cards like Traphole can't be activated in response to it's summon. Also, the LP cost is PAID LP, not inflicted damage.

It looks bad if you take it at face value as an offense card. It's not. It's a defense card that can totally stop your opponent from attacking.

Tl;Dr: It's "Come at me bro" the card.

A defense monster that can only use her effect once unless you have LP gaining cards in your deck. Not to mention that can be shut down easily with Fiendish Chain, Book of Moon, or literally any card that targets.

Look, she was amazing during the early days of YGO when monster removal and disruptions were rare. Not to mention in the TCG you start with 8000 LP. But her time passed a long time ago.

I believe this one will be used to trigger skills and at the same time smash players unknowingly.
2000 LP to destroy one monster and deal some damage unnegated is strong.

A gimick card that can easily cost your game. Don't forget: You lose 2k LP to maybe do damage less than that amount(anything with over 1500 atk mean less lose for your opponent). And beware if there is a second monster that can attack your weak lily to leave you with a few hp. Just a bloated solemn/man eater bug for a monster...

Yeah, this card is insanely good with Titan Showdown. And this card is a legal target for Secret Pass too!

Seriously, unless Titan Showdown is nerfed, I can see us never getting this card in DL.

This seems like a natural fit with Rex Raptor's skill, Titan Showdown:
Whichever player has double or more LP than the other takes double battle damage.

Titan Showdown will be the sole reason why we won't get this card XD

Or maybe they'll nerf Titan Showdown to only double damage when attacking a monster. That would nerf the Anki decks as well, which is something good.
