Works well with Sea Stealth Attack and Mecha Sea Dragon Plesion. So could actually be useful.

Sea Serpent type is actually known as "Sea Dragon" in Japan.

And many others. Appearance and type not matching is actually not that uncommon in YGO.

Reminder that one of the best decks in DL right now is composed of Plant-types that looks like humans

1) Japan is named sea-dragon. "sea-serpent" is the crappy dub gringos gave them.
2) Is obviously a water support card, which needs to fit with fish, sea-serpent and aqua types.

Can combo with Sea Stealth pretty well. This plus hammer shark and Gillman can be devestating especially with a sea stealth on deck.

For a long while, the entire Sea Serpent type was more or less sea dragons, and it's still clearly where they got the "serpent" part from, since the only aquatic snakes we've gotten have been Aqua or Reptile. Either way, not sure why people pretend this matters to them.
