Reverse Glasses can be good for a deck that plays very defensively using monsters with high defense. Des Kangaroo can destroy the attacking monser so you won't have to worry about the next turn when the effect is over. Spikeshield with Chain can increase your monster's defense by quite a lot if your monster has some attack, which can result in some surprising OTKs.
Monsters that can attack multiple times in a turn can take advantage of Reverse Glasses' effect. If your opponent has multiple monsters, use it during your turn before you summon your monsters.
