Cons

Effect only works in defense position.

Tips

The Reliable Guardian and/or Half Shut will almost always ensure that your opponent's attacking monster gets destroyed and also deal some damage from the difference.
Works well in a Labyrinth of Nightmare deck because of Sorcerous Spell Wall.

Does it's effect only work if it's in defense mode? It doesn't specify that, but got attacked by a 1600 after I moved it to attack position and it didn't destroy their monster after battle

Well you can't apply a DEF effect without the monster being in Defense Mode, now can ya? :/

Well sure you can.
The effect only compares ATK with DEF and kangaroo has DEF even if it is in attack position.
So it should be specified that kangaroo has to be in defense position

What I'm saying is though, that there are MANY other monsters with similar effects involving their Defense & every single one of them must be in DEF Mode for it to trigger. It is sorta a given...
