"Majestic Dragon" + "Red Dragon Archfiend" + 1 non-Tuner monster
Cannot be destroyed by card effects. After damage calculation, if this card attacks: Destroy all Defense Position monsters on the field. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate its effects, and if you do, this card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK. These changes last until the end of this turn. During the End Phase: Target 1 "Red Dragon Archfiend" in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target.

Dark cavalry negates majestic red dragon's effect

It won't get destroyed though, since the destruction preventing effect of Majestic Red's stays.

What does it mean "During End Phase target RDA in GY...."

Is it optional?

Because previously it said "Once per turn, you can target one opponent monster, negate its effect..."

It's not mentioned on Majestic Red Dragon's ruling, however, Majestic Star Dragon which has a practically identical last effect, has an official ruling stating that the effect still activates even if the Stardust Dragon is not in the Graveyard. In that case, Majestic Star is still forced to return to the extra deck, but no Stardust Dragon is summoned.

The same should apply to Majestic Red Dragon.

What about finding a way to put it in GY and using Wicked Rebirth?

That works, but you also lose the Majestic Synchro's other effects.

Plus, they still need to have been Synchro Summoned properly first before you can revive them from GY.

Apparently, for Majestic Star Dragon's case, it can be used with Wicked Rebirth, as WR only negates' the monster effect while it is on the field.
Hence, allowing you to keep it on the field but still can use its tribute-negate-nuke effect.

As you said, the real issue is how to properly summon MSD (easily) and send it to GY before it can be revived by WR.

They should update god cards coz now it looks more like joke cards. I see players updating negate cards list in their decks since Xmas to prevent from bringing this beauty.

You don't need current, read the effect again. It's straight 4k damage no matter opposing monster except untargetable ones

Before going into this bad boy, just use Scarlet Security to wipe the field and hope you don't get Karma Cut'ed.
