Hazy Flame is an archetype of all level 6 FIRE monsters. Berlineth could be used in the deck to provide you with tribute fodder and activate his effect when he is used for a tribute summon. Additionally, the monster you discarded to special summon Berlineth or Bernelith himself can be special summoned from the graveyard by Hazy Flame Sphinx. Therefore you can use Berlineth as tribute fodder every turn to keep banishing a card from your opponent’s hand till the end phase.
Tribute Summon Thestalos the Fire Monarch with this card will activate this card's effect, you can look at your opponent's hand and banish a card from their hand, thus increasing the odds of discarding a different card in their hand that can be discarded. Pyrorex is able to be Special Summoned when your graveyard has exactly 5 FIRE monsters, so you can discard FIRE monsters in order to Special Summon Berlineth the Firestorm Vassal, in order to speed up this process.
