Pros

  • Strong DEF stats.
  • Can be Special Summoned from your Hand.
  • It cannot be destroyed by battle, once per turn.

Cons

  • Requires 1 tribute to Tribute summon.
  • Need to have 3 or more LIGHT monsters banished, in order to Special Summon from your Hand.
  • Weak ATK stats.

Tips

  • You can use That Grass Looks Greener or Needlebug Nest to fill your Graveyard with banish materials quickly.
  • Besides being a strong defender on your Field, you can turn Lightray Madoor into an offensive Attacker by using cards like Inverse Universe or Shield and Sword, to swap its ATK and DEF values.
  • You can also use Lightray Grepher to banish this monster from your Deck, then Special Summon it by using Premature Return.

Banish Catalyst

Eclipse Wyvern itself is a LIGHT monster, which can banish another level 7 or higher LIGHT or DARK Dragon-type monster from your Deck, when it was sent from the Field to the Graveyard. Eclipse Wyvern itself can also be banished from the Graveyard to retrieve the banished level 7 or higher LIGHT or DARK Dragon-type monster to your Hand. Skilled Blue Magician is a LIGHT Spellcaster-type that can be banished from the Graveyard to add Spell counter to applicable cards you control (at this point, you have the option to use Different Dimension Master to Special Summon Skilled Blue Magician from the banished zone back to the Field). Lightray Grepher can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Deck, by discarding another LIGHT monster from your Hand. Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh can be Special Summoned by banishing 3 Normal Dragon-type monsters from your Graveyard, so you can directly banish 3 LIGHT attribute Normal Dragon-type monsters to Special Summon. Additionally, this monster can banish 1 Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard to destroy 1 card on the Field once per turn. Hieratic Dragon of Asar can be Special Summoned by banishing 1 LIGHT Dragon-type monster and another Normal Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard. Bujingi Sinyou, Bujingi Hare, Bujingi Boar, Bujingi Quilin, Bujingi Turtle, Bujingi Centipede are all LIGHT monsters that can be banished to activate their respective effects.

Oh wait, I got it. You banish the LIGHT Fairies so that you can SS Lightray Madoor.

.....that's kinda slow though

Fairy deck+LB skill+draw power = LD stall farm deck?

You cannot special summon on the same turn you play Cards From The Sky. Lightray Madoor is a special summon.

Was hoping it would synergize with Intrigue Shield but both their battle negate effects activate together so you still only block one attack.

Use with Soul of Purity and Light in a fairy deck

They need relaese normal aqua madoor. 2000 def monster i mean
Anonymous
Weak to monster destruction effects and position change cards but it needs 2 cards with more than 3000 ATK to be destroyed otherwise.
Anonymous
This plus inverse universe = BEWD 3k atk
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
No, BEWD is Dragon and is easier to summon than this.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Not to mention BEWD has 2500 DEF.

With Inverse Universe, this card would have mere 1200 DEF.

Econ, Floodgate, and Etaqua are still commonly seen cards, you know.

Wrll the summoning condition isnt mandatory so you can still tribute set it so the added extra protection makes it better than its vanilla counterpart
Anonymous
I wonder if this means we'll be getting the other Lightray monsters...

Outside of mirror force and it's other counterparts, this card is also one of the best traps...
They should release this card but make it so that you can only activate it once per week per acco...
Noah is in the game. But you have to unlock Atticus (GX) first before you can unlock him.
