Well it's not a surprise, disabling opponent's backrow is a necessity of any deck, at least 99% of the time.

I don't see any people with good ladder/tournament achievement running even a single copy of Centipede.

You want backrow removal sure, but often times you want to remove backrow before you summon a monster.

Centipede requiring a BW Bujin to be on the field defeats that purpose.

Only battle traps weak against this card.
I would use a general S/T removal rather than Centipede.

The vagabond Bujin decks I fight are all obsessed with Centipede. It may not "work" against Floodgates but it forces their activation, as if they don't activate them, they know Centipede will get rid or them.

Yeah, it is a necessity but it is very remarkable to see how much the Vagabond loves this card.
