Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder | DARK Machine ★8 ATK 1500 / DEF 2500 |
Darkness Gimmick [UR] | |
2 Level 8 monsters Up to twice per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; destroy it, then if it was an Xyz Monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal half to its original ATK. |
A rank 8 Gimmick Puppet XYZ that simply destroy monsters then inflict Damage equal to half of their original ATK and you can use this effect twice.
However, keep in mind that this destruction effect has a restriction where it can only destroy special summoned monsters.
Abyss Dweller | WATER Sea Serpent ★4 ATK 1700 / DEF 1400 |
Photons of Galaxy [UR] Selection Box Vol.03 Mini [UR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters While this card has an Xyz Material attached that was originally WATER, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; any card effects that activate in your opponent's Graveyard cannot be activated this turn. |
Abyss Dweller is an anti-Graveyard interaction tech, intended to hinder Decks that activate a ton of effects from the graveyard. It's best to activate this at the start of the opponent's turn, so make sure to toggle Chain to "ON" and activate Abyss Dweller's effect during the opponent's Draw Phase.
Number 22: Zombiestein | DARK Zombie ★8 ATK 4500 / DEF 1000 |
Darkness Gimmick [SR] | |
2 Level 8 DARK monsters Must be Xyz Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, negate that face-up card's effect until the End Phase. |
A pretty good optional card to use as a rank 8 XYZ. 4500 ATK is high enough to one shot your opponent, making it a great comeback card from your opponent controlling 2 monsters to a win for you in a turn.
The negate effect is pretty strong since it's a quick effect and can negate any face-up card, but switching it to DEF with only 1000 can make it difficult to survive.
Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal | LIGHT Fairy ★6 ATK 2500 / DEF 2800 |
Heart of Xyz [SR] | |
2 Level 6 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by sending 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then using 1 "Dante" monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; send 1 card from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Burning Abyss" monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. |
Used for milling Infinitrack Trencher from your Deck to the GY during your opponent's turn. Then, banish Trencher from the GY to revive Anchor Drill and activate Anchor Drill's effect to special summon another EARTH Level 4 machine monsters to Xyz Summon.
Works well against opponents that only have 1 monster on the field. Even better if it's an XYZ monster since it will remove all their materials, or if it's a monster that says that it can't be special summoned in the card text.
Steelswarm Roach | DARK Fiend ★4 ATK 1900 / DEF 0 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters During either player's turn, when a Level 5 or higher monster would be Special Summoned: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the Special Summon, and if you do, destroy it. |
Number 70: Malevolent Sin | DARK Insect ★4 ATK 2400 / DEF 1200 |
Photons of Galaxy [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3. |
Roach is great for monster suppresion, much like a Trap Hole card. When your opponent summons a boss monster, use Roach's effect to immediately destroy it. This is an especially good counter against Synchro Decks. But most of the time, just Roach's presence on the field is enough to deter the opponent from making big monsters.
Gagaga Samurai | EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1900 / DEF 1600 |
Shining Hope [SR] | |
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. When another monster you control is targeted for an attack while this card is in Attack Position: You can change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation. |
Gagaga Samurai is great for pushing damage because of its double attack ability.

I've just turned in KoG with my Gandora deck. I ended with a 7-Winstreak.
How to play: the main aim of this deck is to OTK on your 2nd turn using Gigarays' effect.
Always add to GY Gandora Dragon of Demolition first using the skill for 1st time.
On the 2nd time add Gigarays Gandora Dragon of Destruction.
On your first turn, be sure you have anti-OTK cards set to survive the next opponent's turn and control the duel. Either Gold/Silver Gadget monster on the field or any hand trap card.
If not, you'd rather summon the XYZ monster with the biggest ATK to prevent from opponent OTK.
You usually will use your monster's effects to draw or special summon many monsters so that you have a good defense and card advantage.
VS Salamangreat: banish or trigger the counter trap asap so that your following moves are safe.
VS Galaxy Photon: trigger the Nr90 XYZ monster effect asap so that your following moves are safe.
VS Heroes: get rid of traps.
If your opponent plays Necrovalley, just banish the cards with only 2 different Gandora monsters in your GY.

Hey y’all, Pochita coming back to duel links after long mater duel Hiatus to bring you Gandora-Berg! You pretty much play normal Gandora gadget shenanigans with Glife homie able to give you the extra backrow removal, you can do a bunch of different set ups and play paths, let’s say your opponent got a nice board board, you opened up with one Gandora and Stromberg, you can activate skill, use it to send princess or Carriage back to deck in case you drew into them, dwindle down their resources and on good cases you can clean their board with special summon gandora and then golden castle it up, this plan could be just as good if you draw into princess, normal summon into normal gandora (castle doesn’t restrict you from tributing in this case) go for a pop bluff, opponent will have to interact, then you can special summon Big Dora, some times you will not have to wipe board because you can keep carriage up to protect berg, also if you have destruction effects active and not banish effect active you can save your own castle because carriage will protect it, honestly this is my favorite variety of the deck, planning on labbing some more, could even see this deck being able to utilize bulb and jet synchron for some synchro plays after special summoning or tributing whichever gandora you have used, I can see a lot of potential being that I just started my late Kog run less than 24 hours before posting this deck.
