Destroys opponent’s monsters that were Special Summoned from the Deck.
Draws 1 card after destroying opponent’s Special Summoned monster.

Cons

Situational to use.

Tips

Although it can jeopardize strategies that involves Special Summoning from the Deck, this card is still situational to use because of the current meta, not all Decks rely on this strategy, thus it may result in you having a dead card instead.

Counter

Most Gladiator Beast has default effects of Special Summoning other Gladiator Beasts from their Deck during the end of Battle Phase if they attacked/was attacked, therefore when they do this, it will be countered by this card. Fool of Prophecy and Reaper of Prophecy have effects to Special Summon Lv 5 or higher Spellcaster-type monster from the Deck, and it is countered by this card. Silent Magician can Special Summon Silent Magician LV8 from the Deck, should it be destroyed by battle or card effects. Amazoness Princess tends to Special Summon another Amazoness monster from their Deck when they attack. Destiny HERO - Malicious can banish itself from the Graveyard to Special Summon another copy of itself from the Deck. Downbeat allows your opponent to tribute their monster to Special Summon another monster with same original Type and Attribute but 1 level lower, from their Deck. Delta The Magnet Warrior is able to Special Summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior from either the Hand or Deck. Transmodify allows your opponent to tribute their monster to Special Summon another monster with same original Type and Attribute but 1 level higher, from their Deck. All of these Special Summoned monsters are destroyed by Mirror of Oaths.

It can't be activated in the damage step.

Only if you destroy it by a card effect outside the damage step. So basically, only if you destroy it with Widespread Ruin or Treacherous Trap Hole. I'd say Void Trap Hole is actually the better card at the moment, it can hit most things that are SS'd from the deck in addition to Dyna, Anki and Amazoness Queen.

Tip: Don't destroy Silent Magician in the Damage Step if you want to use Mirror of Oaths, since it can't be used there. ;p

Y’all tripping it works for me every time it’s basically negates blue eyes decks and it’s a jar of greed this mixed with floodgate will negate basically anything for them people who try to summon their whole deck in 1 turn

Look at the monsters listed on this page, those are the ones that are currently able to be destroyed by this card.

Yes, you destroy a card so they lose 1, you lose this card because you used it and now you're down 1, but then you draw 1 card so you went up 1. them -1, you -1 +1 so a +1 overall

Useless for now, it's a good card later on when special summoning from deck is more of a common thing. Good for countering princess tho.
