Pros

Temporarily banishing your monster can be used to dodge effects.
Debuffs your opponent's monster and it can stop the monsters attack

Cons

Does not get rid of the opponent's monster on its own.

Tips

Similar Effects

The debuff effect is good but quite common, and there are more powerful options. The temporary banishing is much more interesting, because you can use it to dodge your opponent's effects and remove any negatives effects the monster is afflicted with.

Other cards that can do this include Interdimensional Matter Transporter, Dimension Gate and Dimensionhole. World Legacy Clash outshines the aforementioned cards by simply being a Quick-Play Spell, the debuff effect also adds to its utility.

The ruling for this card states you cannot banish monster with "?" ATK/DEF, as "?" means there is no number to refer to when the losing ATK/DEF part resolves.

And even if WLC can banish a monster with "?" ATK/DEF, it still won't work with FL Light because this card banishes as a cost, while FL Light requires the banishing to be an effect.
(And it's not just any effect either, since FL Light uses "When....you can", the banishing must be the last thing to happen or she will miss the timing.)

*basically, being a cost means something else will happen after the banishing, and as I said above, "When....You can" makes that an issue.

They will never limit it because it needs a monster on your own field to be activated.

Very few things ever reach tier 0 status (so far only full power Cyber Angels ever achieved that in Duel Links), it’s more upon hitting things that help the meta become more balanced/diverse, or prevent things that don’t let you play the game at all (FTKs)

Is this a bug or intended?
I attacked my opponent, when he used this card on my second monster (I had two monsters on the field). Opponent's monster left the field.
My second monster lost the attack, but the first monster stopped attacking and just missed his turn.

This is misinformation, dueling lessons explain nothing about how you can use World Legacy Clash card to stop 2 monsters of your opponent at once: prevent one from attacking and reduce the attack points of the second

There are also many typos in the card descriptions in different language versions of application

For example, in russian version text description of Block dragon says "cannot be destroyed except by effect" instead of "cannot be destroyed by battle". I had to open the original site just to understand what happened and why I lost

Since it changes attack, world legacy clash can be activated during the damage step. You use it to banish your monster that is being attacked and reduce the attack of a different opponents monster than the one attacking to zero and since your monster left the field during the damage step, the opponent does not get an attack replay and his other monster now has 0 attack, getting rid of two attacks

You can banish your monster that is being attacked during the damage step, which can be done since world legacy clash changes attack points, and since your monster left the field during the damage step, your opponent does not get to pick a new attack target (aka an attack replay), and use world legacy clash to reduce a different monsters attack to 0.

Who wrote the a- is an idiot. A is the rating. It also stop the monster from attacking, after the debuff. So it end the battle phase for that one monster card. So that's 3 pro's and 1 con's.
