How to use this deck

According to submitted information by players, NPCs do not attack a Spirit Ryu you control if your have enough hand, and that may help players farm Legendary Duelists. While doing some more research on that, we will update this page once we found effective ways to use the monster card.

Rough notes

  • Spirit Ryu farming deck is not effective against Kaiba, Joey, and Keith. Kaiba's D.D. Warrior attacks your Spirit Ryu.
  • You have to have enough cards in your hand and Spirit Ryu on the field to stun your opponent.

-Spirt ryu x3, Red eye black dragon x3, Meteor dragon x3, Blackland fire daragon x3, Meteor black dragon x1

Magic 6
-Shard/Jar of greed x2, Polymerization x2, Secret pass to the treasures x2

Trap 2
-Backup soldier x2

1. summon Spirt ryu and keep card on hand 4+
2. tribute summon Meteor dragon then fusion Meteor black dragon.
3. keep draw, discard unneeded spell and Blackland fire daragon.
4. when deck reach 0, use secret pass to Spirt ryu to do direct attack, keep use his effect and use Backup soldier to recover Blackland fire dragon from graveyard.
5. you should do around 11,000~15,000 damage and get 6~7 duel reward.

It work with Lv.45 SD excpet "The Machines' Unrest" and "Mask Beast".

Cons:
1. Except ishizu (how about keith?), any farm duelist can be defeated by cerberus easily
2. can be a bug, can be shut down anytime
3. Not consistent pack (chu caelin rite+weapon-> neo impact.
ryu spirit, ryu senshi, warrior dai-> tyrant,
Secret pass, jaevelin, shard of greed > ultimate rising)

Pros:
1. cheap
2. The only one who can beat lv.40 ishizu (now)

that's why its a bug, the AI thinks u can use it in their own turn.

Also, it's apparent that the AI won't attack if you have Spirit Ryu and a good amount of cards in your hand, since it's afraid you'll be able to activate at any time.

Really? Is it working vs kaiba or Ishizu? How can you deal with enemy controller?

People on Reddit say it works against Ishizu and Mai, and probably others. I'd throw in a Magic Jammer for Kaiba's enemy controller, but tbh I'm not sure he'd actually take control of the Ryu unless he had a few dragons in his hand and a monster to tribute.

actually for countering enemy controller, Riryoku Field is all you need and it's the cheapest sort of normal cards at the trader

Remove some problem cards. eg Kaiba D.D. Warrior. Not really sure though, still think it's not so good.
