Lol this card and fiendish both is useless. i just negate it effect with aromage synchro then send the monster he equip it. you know what happen. this card become zombie with no function. stay face up without effect kahkah

Use Fiendish Chain on Aromage Jasmine to prevent deck out.

this card is going to be abused. it does a better job NOT sitting uselessly on the field compared to fiendish chain and you can use this on lava golem and much more.....attacking into my face down flip eff? since it has the attack altering effect i can let you attack and flip my guy face up and chain this and still protect my dude

This card also has interesting interaction with Book of Moon, which depends on whether you chained BoM to this card or not.

If you chained BoM to this card to flip this card's target face-down, Shadow Spell will still affect the target anyway, even if it's flipped face-up by another card effect later on.

But if you don't chain BoM, and just use it to flip the target face-down after Shadow Spell resolve, Shadow Spell will lose its target and just remain on the field meaninglessly.

I don't see any reason to use this instead of Floodgate or Fiendish chain

This card is very cheap. It might actually be good for beginners. You can still replace it later with better staples.

I don't get why people say this. He used it ONCE, and it wasn't even in a particularly memorable way.

He used Cloning 3 times and I still wouldn't consider THAT a signature trap of his.

I don't know why it's not memorable to you, but it was memorable to many people, because he used it on his own Blue-Eyes when Pegasus took control of it, preferring to mercy 🔥 it than having it be controlled by Pegasus.

Plus, this card was one of the holofoil in Structure Deck Kaiba Evolution in TCG.
