rather than using econ, divine wrath would be much easier, chalice also works because it negates an effect.

The problem is you cant use any if you have no turn. With very high-chance FTK deck like this, Konami deserve to change the game to Rock–paper–scissors, instead of wasting the time of the player to play Bamboo.

This one is luck based, but Enemy Controller is a good counter for this deck.

With the current meta full of Floodgate and Econ, if the Bamboo deck goes second (50% of the time), there is high chance that it can't win. That's why this deck has a winrate around 50%

Hallowed Life Barrier works beautifully well too

You would have win if you was the first to play. Thanks to econ. That's why Bamboo deck is not a big KOG material : too many chances to brick (50% of the time, you go second)
