Never tried new gladiator beasts but isn't it a disadvantage to discard gb to the graveyard and drawing in a 20-card deck that relies on special summons from the deck?

Can be helpful if you have extra Glad Beasts in your hand and you want to draw into backrow cards. And you can get the discarded GB back with Equeste or Darius.
