Running a Water deck too? I feel your pain, Vagabonds with Conscription LOVE TO DRAW UP EITHER MY DAEDALUS OR WORSE, SUIJUN (which has a pretty nasty card effect), it makes me stop on my tracks, like how am I supposed to beat a Suijun if I am not prepared? :(((
Clarity on wording.. says normal summoned or set... so why does it work on tributes? Tributes can only be summoned or set by completing the tribute hence it has its own name: Tribute Summon. Surely this shouldn't work or the card is opaf.. downside of possible fail but upside of possible BEWD, Daedalus etc
A tribute summon is treated as a normal summon, that is why you can only tribute summon once per turn as it counts as your normal summon for the turn. also, the card is good but its not op. if you run a balanced deck (as everyone should) you have about a 40-50% chance of drawing a spell/trap in which case it is added to your hand (also counts for ritual monsters).
Really double edged.
TLDR,On KC cup, Oponent got my blue eyes white dragon, even then got 1 turn blasted off. Best one shot ever!
(1 Naturia strawberry effect + 1 Riryoku + 2 Shooting Star Bow - Ceal) kaboom!
Oponent got turn#1 and set this card and a monster on DEF. Then on turn #2, I put a summit a strawberry, and he got my blue eyes dragon on his side on attack possition.
Strawberry got increased ATK by 800points, I had a Ryrioku on hand along halving his ATK and giving it Naturia now 4000ATK, with two shooting star bows taking his stolen dragon to 0 ATK, and kaboon, it was over.
I would have paid 100 dollars for getting his face on photo
Yeah, if someone is using a 20 card deck, and you're waiting for them to run out of card to draw, regardless of what, conscription is -1 turn for them. Sure it could theoretically help them by drawing an extra card, but if you're trying to outlast your opponent it can be viable.
