Almost beaten a Vagabond with a direct attack using my Kaiser Seahorse. Vagabond used Conscription; summons my Daedalus. Vagabond wins.

Running a Water deck too? I feel your pain, Vagabonds with Conscription LOVE TO DRAW UP EITHER MY DAEDALUS OR WORSE, SUIJUN (which has a pretty nasty card effect), it makes me stop on my tracks, like how am I supposed to beat a Suijun if I am not prepared? :(((

Ooops, sorry for the mistake. Suijin (the water guardian)

Yeah, I run a Daedalus deck, a Dinosaur Kingdom deck, and am working on a Kazejin + BEWD deck. I might farm Lv. 40 Yugi & Tea and try for making a Dark Magician deck too.

Conscription works great with the Peeking Goblin spell card. You get a little more control over what you special summon.

Clarity on wording.. says normal summoned or set... so why does it work on tributes? Tributes can only be summoned or set by completing the tribute hence it has its own name: Tribute Summon. Surely this shouldn't work or the card is opaf.. downside of possible fail but upside of possible BEWD, Daedalus etc

A tribute summon is treated as a normal summon, that is why you can only tribute summon once per turn as it counts as your normal summon for the turn. also, the card is good but its not op. if you run a balanced deck (as everyone should) you have about a 40-50% chance of drawing a spell/trap in which case it is added to your hand (also counts for ritual monsters).

Game is trash

Really double edged.
TLDR,On KC cup, Oponent got my blue eyes white dragon, even then got 1 turn blasted off. Best one shot ever!
(1 Naturia strawberry effect + 1 Riryoku + 2 Shooting Star Bow - Ceal) kaboom!
-----------------
Oponent got turn#1 and set this card and a monster on DEF. Then on turn #2, I put a summit a strawberry, and he got my blue eyes dragon on his side on attack possition.
Strawberry got increased ATK by 800points, I had a Ryrioku on hand along halving his ATK and giving it Naturia now 4000ATK, with two shooting star bows taking his stolen dragon to 0 ATK, and kaboon, it was over.
I would have paid 100 dollars for getting his face on photo

It's effect doesn't work on monsters that have a requirement to be summoned like Guardian Grarl. If you conscription on it draws grarl it will just go into your opponents hand like a spell or trap.

If you use conscription on it *

Another thing I'd like to mention; this deck is also great for decks focusing on decking out the enemy; due to forcing the enemy to draw a card, it certainly helps.

Yeah, if someone is using a 20 card deck, and you're waiting for them to run out of card to draw, regardless of what, conscription is -1 turn for them. Sure it could theoretically help them by drawing an extra card, but if you're trying to outlast your opponent it can be viable.
VeganAligator
The evaluation is a bit general. This card can do wonders... it could be the card that wins a match, and the only real expense is that you draw this over a useful card. No matter what, practically every single player uses a monster in their deck, and conscription is useful in this way. You could pull a blue eyes white dragon with this card, or at least pull a monster from their deck which you can tribute for your own monster.
VeganCrocodile
This evaluation of the card is incredibly bad and lacking insight. Not thoughtful at all.

Conscription won me countless games. Playing a 3000 white dragon from a single card is amazing value.

You can activate it during your turn and use it for tribute summon. So it's mostly very efficient card.

Sure it can backfire and draw the opponent a spell or trap, but you could just consider that a bad draw.
