I used this card when it was equipped to a Evilswarm monster, I activated the Evilswarm monster effect (tribute the Evilswarm monster), but the sword did not come back to my hand. Is this a bug or I misunderstood the card?

If not mistaken, that's a "miss timing" there.

"When" this cards is sent to gy, "do" this.

But when the card is tributed and something else (tribute summon) happened, it lost its activation window.

I'm assuming tributing for ritual summon doesn't count

From the text it should count, it only say tributed, not "tributed for a Tribute summon". Should work with e-con.

Dammit, this card needs to come back. I started playing in March and missed out.

Sadly, not anything you will equip this card onto will be ingredients for a (potential) Tribute summon(s). If the card description is NOT limited to Tribute summoning, it would have been better (eg. Sword of Deep-Seated). As it is now, the activation requirement of the added effect is too limiting as it requires all "3 key cards" to be in your hand at the same time.

what do you mean?
that's why it says only dark and only tribute summon so it would be balance versus some equip spell cards
