This card can destroy a card from your opponent's back row

Cons

Even though it has a decent attack, there are still Level 4 or lower monsters that can surpass it. And its defense is very low which makes it susceptible to attacks when switched to defense position.
It can only use its effect if it's summoned by an effect of a Zombie-Type monster.
This card is destroyed at the End Phase when it's special summoned.

By using these cards, you can Special Summon Bone Crusher from your Graveyard and use its effect. Il Blud can special Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard once per turn. This lets you to repeatedly Special Summon Bone Crusher and use its effect every turn. While Vampire Genesis has a similar effect to it, but it needs to discard Zombie-Type monster from your hand with a higher level than Bone Crusher to Special Summon it.

That's true. Many players made it to KoG using Shiranui and Vendread.

They don't play this card though.

I assume the OP was referring to the old zombie decks that do use this card, as the OP's comment no longer has a timestamp, so it must be a really old comment.
