When a monster your opponent controls activates its effect: You can send 1 face-up "Blackwing" monster you control to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it, then, you can Special Summon 1 "Black-Winged Dragon" from your Extra Deck. If you control a "Blackwing" Synchro Monster or "Black-Winged Dragon", you can activate this card from your hand.

Requires you to send a Blackwing monster to the graveyard.

Black-Winged Dragon

Usually, this monster is not considered good except when facing burn decks, but because you get to summon him with Blackbird Close you essentially get a powerful beater for free.

Blackwing Synchro

Blackwing Synchro monsters are very easy to summon with their archetype so you will often be able to activate Blackbird Close from your hand. If you have Assault Blackwing - Sohaya the Rain Storm, you can use him as tribute and then later revive him with his own effect.

This is what paypigs deserve. Me always f2p with Dark magician, triamids and shiranui did not Even get hit by the ban list at all. I can annihilate all p2p losers who spent hundreds of dollars on their decks but now you will all get banished by my circle, karma cuts ans floodgated to death hahahaha. Why is madame verre, when negated with blackbird close, not protected from its destruction effect by machine angel ritual in my graveyard?

I´m pretty sure it´s because Blackwing Close is a Counter Trap. Those have Speed Spell 3 effects, which means only other Counter traps can be activated in response. Machine Angel Ritual doesn´t get a chance to activate, so it can´t protect Verre from being destroyed.

Pretty much a mandatory card when going against Witchcrafter. Makes them rage quit.

Nope, I understand fine. OP probably didn’t read the “Negate AND destroy” part of this traps condition to summon Black Winged Dragon. Happens when you negate something in the graveyard, but nothing was actually destroyed.

Probably the most clutch card to use in the current meta along with Necrovalley in the current meta. With Black Wings, those two cards helped me achieve KoG/DLv Max. Negate your opponent’s freedoms.

Any BW Synchro should work, literally says so on the text, you can use either Black-Winged Dragon or a BW Synchro.

Broken 🔥 card changed the whole duel and I couldn't even stop it with magician navigation for whatever made up reason.
There's not a single sentence in the card that tells you it can't be countered.

Yeah it's a good card. Anyway, the reason you couldn'y counter it it's because it's a counter-trap. It has an additional level of speed compared to a normal trap, so normal traps can't be chained to it.

Yes, I think this a bug. I can activate this card only if I have a Blackwing Tamer. Seems you cannot activate it from the hand if you control Assault Raikiri or Assault Chidori. Good that I haven't spent real money on those cards.

Maybe I'm mistaken about the activation of this trap card. Since I cannot remove my previous comment, I have to say that Duel Links is an awesome TCG game and I'll continue to spend money for UR cards. Anyway, sorry for the spam and if you can please delete my previous comment. Thanks :)

This card is working fine. You can use it with all Blackwing monsters, even if with Raikiri. Have in mind, that you cannot activate this trap to negate the activation of an effect after a monster is destroyed and/or is already in the graveyard.
