You will need one of these monsters when summoning Odin, luckily both are somewhat good at what they do. When Valkyrie is summoned while you have no other cards on the field and your opponent controls cards, you can banish 2 Nordic monsters from your hand and summon 2 tokens. Use Valkyrie with the tokens to make Odin.
Vanadis can manipulate her level while also pitching Nordic monsters to your graveyard. Send Valkyrie to the graveyard so that Odin will have more fuel for his revival effect.
When Odin’s effect is active, you can safely activate Needle Ceiling to destroy all other face-up monsters except Odin.
Use these cards to support your Aesir and/or Nordic monsters. March Towards Ragnarok gives a similar effect to Odin’s and can be used during your opponent’s turn or during a critical situation.
